I stayed here recently for 4 days. The hotel is at the epicentre of downtown, medical centre and galleria and makes visiting several areas of Houston very easy. Shuttle bus from airport around 20 dollars. The check in was very easy and staff very helpful. The room is great. Really comfortable bed and multiple different pillows. Great shower and functional... My father was really sick in the hospital and after staying the night in a waiting room we knew we couldn't keep it up. We decided on one night in the hotel for a shower and good nights rest. The receptionist was able to give us two nights at an amazing rate to help us. We had to add in... More

The room had a very comfortable bed, and was a decent size. The room and bathroom were both well-kept and clean. The view was mediocre at best (another building across the street), but not unexpected given the location. The A/C was a bit louder than I'd like, though you really need good A/C in Houston. The rest of the hotel... More

This was my third stay at this hotel. It is a typical nicely appointed Marriott but what stood out for me this stay was their response to the lost ipad for one my travel companions. It wasn't until we boarded the plane at 7:00 am yesterday that she realized she had left her ipad in her room. A quick call... More

This hotel is in a good location for the complex of Texas Medical Center facilities. As an MD Anderson patient it has served us well. We are on a Concierge floor which helps. The room is fine, the staff pleasant and efficient, the women running the Concierge Lounge delightful, the morning breakfasts are fine but the food is becoming boring,... More

We stayed here three nights with our two kids (7 and 10 years old) in March 2014 for Spring Break. The Metro Rail station is right in front of the hotel and provides easy access to the Museum District, Houston Zoo, and even the Downtown Aquarium. We stayed in room with two doubles beds. The beds were very comfortable, but... More

I stayed here 2 nights for a medical conference across the street. From the time I arrived until I left, the entire staff was quite welcoming. Check-in was prompt and efficient. My room was quiet and had a nice view of Fannin Street. On a Saturday night, I had some issues with my television reception and remote control, but the... More

Stayed here only one night but wish I could have stayed longer. As soon as I got out of the car, a very friendly staff member started checking me in on her tablet as we walked to the lobby. Check-in could not have been faster. Clean, modern lobby, rooms, and pool area. The room was very comfortable. I always appreciate... More

We stayed here during my husband's surgery at St. Luke's across the street and it couldn't have been a better choice. The bed was very comfortable and the shades didn't let in the morning light. We enjoyed the food in the hotel and there's a Starbucks in the lobby. The staff went above and beyond, getting us whatever we needed,... More

I generally love Marriott Hotels and try to stay with them when I can. This Marriott has an ideal location to the Medical Centers and an easy walk to most of the buildings. The staff is very helpful and cordial. The "check in" and "check out" was easy and flawless. Getting transportation by taxi was also simple as there were... More
