Hotel is very handy for those coming in and out of Houston Hobby Airport. The staff at the restaurant are very helpful and courteous. Watch out for the bacon, looks like its cooked in big batches as was just dripping with grease. Overall decent hotel.

If you can block the Cabana Rooms.....you will be in Hawaii with the palm trees swaying in the breeze ! Third floor rooms in the Cabana Pool area are the best in the hotel and if the wind is blowing, you will enjoy the rustling of the palm fronds !! :~)

We needed a place for a one night stay prior to a cruise. We booked this hotel with points. It was an excellent stay. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the airport. They will also take you to local restaurants within a 3 mile radius. The only issue we experienced was with the shuttle driver failing to... More

The rooms are nice and breakfast is pretty good but the staff did not make me aware of all the other amenities in other locations of the property beyond the breakfast area. The bartender at the back bar was very snippy and acted like I was inconveniencing him. The executive lounge may as well be closed. The only beverages were... More

Hilton killed the food 2x - broke a tooth on the ball bearing rice, accompanying the 1/2" of the grey card board pieces they called flat iron, the broccoli was masterfully pressure cooked. The server was clueless, just a young many trying to make his way. Tipped him and we never said a word about the food. he'll figure it... More

I stayed at the hotel for one night with a group of colleagues. In the morning, while preparing to leave, I discovered that the shower was not working. No combination of levers produced water, and the shower controls were loose against the wall. While taking a hasty sponge bath I noticed that the faucet unit was similarly detached from the... More

I don't travel much and this visit was for a UNT Web Institute for my distance learning graduate studies. It wast the nicest hotel I stayed at, the building was lovely and large, the free cookie was a wonderful surprise, it was quiet, and the staff were very accommodating. I had never stayed in any kind of Hilton before and... More

For personal relaxation or corporate business, the Double Tree by Hilton is the place for me. I recently spent the weekend Jan22nd - 24th here for a city wide church / community prayer breakfast banquet which was amazing. Maggie Del Rio of the Hilton whom we have worked with over the years is the ultimate event planner and exceptional catering... More

chose the Houston DoubleTree when stuck in Houston layover for snowbound Washington DC, because Hilton advertised it had good restaurant and 2 lobby bars. Saturday afternoon staff oblivious to NFL AFC championship game (2pm), no Hilton on-premise bars or restaurant open. Maintenance staff unable to operate the lobby TV remote control. Room service delivery staff unable to explain FOOD tax... More

So I had a conference for my graduate program at the DoubleTree hotel. The proximity to the airport was amazing! I did NOT like that there is not much else near the hotel. One Jack In The Box sits next to the hotel, I had to walk 30 minutes to get to other restaurants. The facility itself was awesome, very... More
