5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We were surprised at this hotel. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've had in a hotel and the room was very modern! I was also recovering from heat stroke and the AC worked perfectly (haha). The mirror in the bathroom made me want to do renos at home. The main lobby is currently under construction so there's... More

We have just had a 3 week holiday in US. We stayed a night here at the airport on arrival in a room that hadn't been renovated. We have just checked in again after such a fab holiday and the lovely staff on reception have put us in one of the renovated suites. The interior designers have achieved a very... More

South tower renovated rooms are very well done and are great. Gym in north tower is great. and the food and drinks in CKs are great. The rest will be great when done at the end of the year. Now there is a lot of walking, noise and the feeling of incompleteness.

Ok before the hotel responds with the excuse they are doing a multimillion refurbishment and the new rooms and facilities will be awesome the fact is that the Marriott is still selling rooms to travellers that they should be a shamed of. If they were true to brand protection they would just close the old hotel and only sell something... More

We had a layover and missed our flight so we decided to go the closest and most convenient hotel we could find. Big mistake. First of all It's under renovation...I understand it's not going to be perfect while renovating, but to justify spending over $300/night is insane. They tell you $269 a night, but then they slide the bill under... More

I am writing to you in response to your recent stay at the Houston Airport Marriott. I have reviewed your comments and I am embarrassed to hear of your experience at the hotel overall. We arrived to the Marriott the day before our early flight out of Bush International Airport We were greeted at the door by the same really friendly Bellboy! Check-in was a breeze! They were remodeling the lobby but you couldn't even tell except for the plastic drapes The room was nice, comfortable and quite!

The hotel is undergoing construction and much-needed updates. I stayed in one of the rooms that has been updated, and it was one of the nicest I've stayed in for a long time. When the North Tower update is completed, I think this will be a "must-stay" destination when visiting Houston. For an airport location, it was very quiet in... More

As I have written in other reviews, if you have an early morning flight, staying at an airport hotel is the best way to do it and this hotel is in the airport. Other than that, it is consistent with other airport hotels I have stayed in--a little down at the heels and just a couple of steps above a... More

The Hotel is undergoing a period of renovation, there are diversions and lots of building works going on. Expensive, add $20 a night for all taxes, and remember the price is for a room only, breakfast is extra as is the wi-fi at $8 a day so full cost is not what you see!

Dear David: Thank you for providing us with valued feedback! I'm sorry to hear you felt our prices were expensive. Our rates are very competitive to other full service properties in the area and are determined by the market trends.
