I stayed at the hotel for 1 night passing through houston. This hotel is just as it looks in the pictures. The staff was friendly, the rooms were super clean, and it is nicely done. The rooms here are 2 room suites, the living room has a pull out couch, 32" flat screen tv, desk w/wireless, and wet bar/fridge area. The... more

I stayed at the Windsor Suites Hotel Southwest in Houston. I honestly cannot understand how this hotel could receive a 3.5 star rating!!!! The carpet and the room were filthy. I called in the early evening to confirm my reservation. It took them quite some time to find it. When I arrived [late at night], they had problems finding the... more

We stayed 2 nights in one of their newly renovated rooms, and thought that the nice new clean room at $90/night was the best value I have seen in years. I was much more happy with the room than the Ritz-Carlton I stayed in L.A. the week before at $238/night. Almost twice as much space as a small Ritz room,... more

This hotel was supposed to be converted to a Crowne Plaza as of March 2007, but was still a complete mess of reconstruction as of May. There was plastic hung about the lobby, broken concrete, dirt and loud construction going on. The hotel should have closed during this major renovation. One night we had no hot water. One morning during... more

I second the reviewer commenting on the construction. The hotel should be closed given the amount of renovation going on. Currently, it's dark, disgusting and dismal. The rooms are spacious, but the towels are threadbare, pillows and sheets and sub-par and there is zero charm in the decor. There is no restaurant in the hotel, the workout room is totally... more

I stayed at this hotel via Priceline last week. I was looking for cheaper hotel and it was more expensive that it should have been (this was rated a 2.5 star, I've paid less for hotels on priceline for 3*s in the IAH and Downtown locations). This hotel is probably going to be quite good in March 2007 when the... more

Booked for 5 nights, stayed one. Lobby under construction, dirty, room was very shabby, bed like a board, tub dirty. Hot (?) breakfast was cold eggs and bacon, no juice, no coffee, no tea. Was charged more than the going rate (going rate is $99, I paid $116 per night plus taxes). Checked out after one night, but was charged... more

Me and My husband stayed at this hotel while the National Baptist Convention was in town. The King suite was wonderful. We did not hear any loud noises. A very pleasant stay. The best part of our stay was the Breakfast food and the Happy Hour Time. Everyday, the food was hot and very fresh.. more

This hotel is the pits. There are a lot of issues here. It is very old and never really seen an update. It sits immediately on the highway and has terrible sliding glass doors so it is like sleeping outside. The atrium roof is covered with tarps because it leaks everywhere when it rains. The high speed internet connection does... more
