I was so disappointed in this hotel. The staff was average, but nice. The line was huge as soon as we arrived and only had two people helping. We finally get to our room after a 20 minute wait and it's super small. It's decently clean overall, but the sheet toward the headboard was dirty and gross. We asked for... More

Room was clean but small. Bathroom was an oversized closet. Had to ask to be moved from my first room assignment because the smell of deodorizer was so strong it made my eyes water. Common spaces were tired. Staff was hit or miss....some great, others not so much. Attached restaurant was C+ at best. Location was horrid - absolutely nothing... More

I really enjoyed staying here. The decor in the lobby is from the 1930's, near when the building was built. Staff was friendly. You can even check in at a kiosk so you dont have to wait. My only two complaints were a little of tv noise from next door that I easily slept through and I was in a... More

Arrived at the hotel very late due to a delayed flight and the people on the desk seemed grumpy. Then the card on file was declined and the man behind the counter couldn't have been more smug about it, it was quite unkind and upsetting. We had another card which worked fine. We were a group of 3 and had... More

This is where my company puts me when I'm in Houston. Up until now this hotel has been a big let down. I stayed here 2 nights ago and was pleasantly surprised at one very big change. The work out room was relocated and completely renovated! The front desk staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My room was extremely small... More

Other reviews talk about how small the rooms are, this is true but they are very clean, modern and comfortable. Stayed their to go to a Rockets game. While a May not want to stay for a week 1-3 days, for the money is well worth it. Walking distance to anything you want to do downtown. If you have a... More

A friend and I from England recently stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is modern, the restaurant food is good and is located within walking distance of the local attractions. The room was slightly on the small size, but was clean and included all the necessities Would definitely stay here again

After an evening out with my wife, we didn't want to make the drive back to the suburbs of Houston. The rate for that evening was almost 100$ cheaper than the other hotels around. We threw cation to the wind and went for it. The term you get what you pay for applies here.. The room although clean and updated... More

My first time staying downtown and I didn't want to give my left arm. We are absolutely enjoying the location and hotel. The service has been great. I would definitely return. The hotel does have some unique features that are frankly enjoyable. The lounge with drinks and snacks, computers, complimentary bottled water dispenser on each floor, etc. The rooms are... More

Low priced but cost adds up with fees. However... Overall a very good experience...downtown close to business... Fast checking and checkout. Old time feel. The water concept in bottles is excellent. Will stay again
