Before I checked-out I left a note for the housekeeping staff via the comment card that the bathroom door sticks, the A/C control didn't seem speed up the fan or make the room colder. Courtyard's, Spring Hills, Residence Inn's, etc. are suppose to reflect the Marriott brand or come close to it and this one (though resembled the decorating, staff,... More

This Courtyard has a great location, with quick access to 59 and 5-10 miles from both the galleria and downtown. The price can be pricey, especially considering you can get some great downtown deals for under $100 a night. It is odd that there is a Residence Inn by Marriott right next door. The rooms are very nice and clean,... More

The only gripe that I can come up with is price. This is often the most expensive Courtyard that I stay at when I suck it up and spend in some cases mid $200's for a room. This is a Courtyard, that means you pay for breakfast on top of an often VERY expensive room. This last time it was... More

You are really paying for location here. This is close to the museums, Rice Village/University, the Galleria, and not far from downtown, but the hotel itself is really average, and overpriced for what it is. When we first got there, no one was at the front desk, and no one arrived for a couple of minutes. It wasn't clear that... More

I look for a hotel that is safe, clean, comfortable and friendly. All of my expectations were met here. The bed was extremely comfortable with great pillows, and the A/C was cold. I seldom sleep well in hotels, but this was a great exception. The hotel is easy to access and everything about it was inviting. I am so glad... More

I booked a night at the hotel for my husband because the winter storm coming to Houston would have made his drive from downtown to home an hour away dangerous. He also works an overnight shift. I booked through the Gold reservation line and asked specifically for a hotel that would let him check in around 6 AM and allow... More

We stayed at this hotel while attending a conference in Houston. After attending the conference all day, we realized we left a bag at the hotel. We had checked out at 8:00 that morning, and didn't realize we forgot our bag until 7:00 that night. The bag contained my Ipad and my Nook. As soon as I realized we left... More

I travel to Houston each week for work and find that this property goes above and beyond what they need to do to accommodate returning rewards guests. My room is always ready, extras are always in the room and they always greet me with my name and a smile. I've stayed at this property 187 nights in 2013 and seriously... More

Good choices of restaurants in the area. Industrial area but the hotel itself is nice enough. Free Shuttle to anywhere in the area is very convenient. Rooms clean. Thanks for the experience. Close to freeway access.

This Courtyard is like all others with a Bistro, Business Center and standard rooms. The rooms are spacious, but there was a lot of road noise making it difficult to sleep. The location is very convenient to the Rice University Campus and downtown. The interesting part is that there is a Courtyard and Residence Inn on the same property. So... More
