We stayed at this Residence Inn property twice while helping our daughter move into the Rice University dorms. The location is quiet and convenient if you have a rental car. The free parking is great. The staff are friendly and helpful, which is very positive. The area is safe. The room was adequate and fairly clean. We didn't spend a... More

They young man who checked me in was nice. This hotel needs to be updated. The rate for the hotel was good. It's in a nice area. Right near the express way! The hallway smelted nice. I wish the rooms did. It's nothing special. It's a Courtyard hotel right next door.

My home experienced some flooding and needed a vast amount of repair. While it was getting fixed up we stayed here for about 2 weeks, and were taken care of greatly. Hotel was in need of some renovations itself (especially the carpets), but the staff helped us oversee that aspect with their great customer service. Since we live so close... More

This hotel is in need of a makeover. The carpet in our room was shabby and in places it was clear a piece had been cut out and patched. My biggest complaint is the bathtubs. Be careful stepping in to take a shower. The bottom of the tub is slippery and it has a rounded bottom so if you step... More

The whole place looks dingy and disgusting. The ceiling has popcorn on it. The bathroom in my first room appeared to have black mold. (Handicapped room. Tile looked gross enough I feared catching foot fungus.) Second room was a bit better but housekeeping had left some random pill on the floor which made me wonder about how little housekeeping may... We stayed here as my daughter was relocating to Houston with her cat. The location was convenient and easy to get in and out of. As with most places, there are pros and cons. Pros: Beds were clean. Staff was friendly. The hotel is pet friendly. Plenty of space in our suite. Had a kitchen area that was reasonably furnished.... More

We have stayed there on numerous trips to Houston and recommend it to anyone wanting to be near Rice U and 59th & Kirby area. Folks at the front desk are always helpful including changing my room on check-in to 1st floor near a doorway to accommodate my disabled wife. Breakfast is excellent and replenished often by pleasant hardworking people.... More

We lived here in a two bedroom suite with our cat for two months while our home was being repaired due to flood damage. The rooms are kept extremely clean by the housekeeping staff. From Monday to Wednesday in the evening they serve a light meal and complimentary beverages which is very nice. They also serve a large breakfast (hot... More

The staff on both day and night shifts, are professional and take good care of guests. The pool and hot tub each have a lift for guests who can't walk into the water. Many of the people staying at this location are in Houston for medical reasons and the staff makes life as easy as possible for everyone staying there.... More

We stayed in this hotel for 11 days. First room given the fridge didn't work. Had to move to another room. Breakfast wasn't served since the cook didn't show up. Manager gave us points to offset these issues. Overall good place to stay - quiet, close to restaurants. Slow wifi, much faster at nearby Courtyard.
