I had a quick one night stay in. Corner Suite. The gentleman who checked me in was polite and welcoming. The Corner Suite was designed nicely but It really was one room, which was a disappointment. I stayed at this hotel when it was Landry's and was completely charmed with the ambiance and baseball memorabilia. Sadly this was all missing.

Excellent location if you need to get to the Ballpark or Convention Center. The staff was friendly and room was nice. They are remodeling the place after it was converted to a Westin last year, so the decor seemed updated in the room, but the bathroom felt like it didn't match. It was still nice regardless and the room was... More

One night business stay. I like the Westin chain a lot. Poor man's Four Season's. Pros: Typical very high quality room appointments, highest quality bathroom and bedding, adjacent to fabulous and expensive steak restaurant Vic and Anthony's, breakfast buffet very high quality Cons: No hotel convenience store to buy water, etc -- very odd, very dark feeling to the hotel-my... This hotel is just what you should expect from a luxury hotel in the heart of the city. Location is usually good, prices are high, internet and parking are expensive and inconvenient. Make sure to check what kind of constructions are taking place around the hotel. In my particular case I found large constructions close to the hotel, so early... More

Stayed at the Westin (formerly Inn at the Ballpark). Lovely room and staff paid attention to every detail. Breakfast in room was delivered hot, delicious with all the extras...right down to ice water.

I am a long time fan of Westin properties. The Galleria area Westins are getting a little dated, so I was excited to see this downtown property open. The location isn't the best when it comes to some of the larger corporations downtown, there is a bit of a walk but I was fine with that. When I went to... More

We recently stayed for for a company Christmas party and everything was very nice, clean and the views from the room were excellent. We stayed in the corner suite, so we could see the baseball stadium and convention center. Only complaints would be that the wifi is not free in the room and there is no free breakfast offered.

I am not a big fan of valet service so I asked the door an as well as the front door staff where the closest parking garage is and they told me they cannot give out that information. It was 1.5 blocks away. Sad approach to make a few more dollars. The front staff was also not particular friendly. The... More

We only stayed for 1 night but any time we can stay at a Westin, we do. The front desk service was excellent- thanks for the upgrade to a higher floor. Comfortable room & comfortable bed as always. Lots of restaurants & Vic & Anthony's is right across the side entrance (so we went). Great value for the price we... More

We spent Thanksgiving weekend at this hotel. The lobby area was very attractive and the rooms were nice. The valets were excellent as we ventured in and out of the hotel several times each day. The restaurant serves a nice breakfast and the service was efficient. The hotel was close to the highway making trips all over Houston and to/from... More
