We are traveling to see games in all of the MLB parks and try to stay in hotels within walking distance of the parks whenever possible. This hotel is right across the street from Minute Maid park and is decorated in a baseball theme. My grandson loved it and so did I. The room was clean and quite comfortable. The... more

I went to this hotel after a baseball game and the hotel was located directly across from Minute Maid Park so it was a great convenience! I booked for one night but decided to stay longer because the staff and café inside the hotel were fantastic! The food is great and the staff are extremely friendly. My room was so... more

We planned a triip to see the Houston Astro's game and spent one night at this hotel and loved it. Great location, we walked to the game, just across the street. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was also very good with large portions my husband and I split the Club Sandwich with homemade chips. The hotel... more

We chose the hotel due to its proxinity to the convention center, and its prices (it cost less than the conference's official hotel, the Hilton, even with the conference's special rate). We were "upgraded" to a small suite, which was nice, though it also put us on the second floor, closer to the noise (especially the piped 40 and 50s... more

If you're not going to a game, you may want to look elsewhere. This hotel is nice. But there is nothing around it. There is an overpriced steakhouse next door, and some cafes that look abandoned. Manly baseball theme everywhere. However nice Aveda toiletries. Getting in touch with their "accounting department" to get a check-out receipt is like pulling teeth.... more

Got the hotel on priceline for $60 - total of $77 with taxes. The hotel was $200+ on other websites so we got a great value. Ask for two beds, and she said for $30 extra with much attitude, which i could have done without. Great location and hotel not real big. Rooms were nice, beds were comfortable. Nice robe... more

Got a suite for a great price! This was after baseball season so it was not as busy as it might be when the Astro's are playing. The service was excellent all around from the front desk to the valet and room service. Not a single complaint. Breakfast buffett was outstanding as well. Room was very clean and comfortable! more

I stayed here just after Hurricane Ike had hit and I was looking for a mini getaway for myself. I wouldn't normally have chosen this hotel (the decor isn't particularly appealing to me and I don't really like the downtown location) but my choices were limited as few places had reopened after the hurricane hit. The front desk clerk was... more

We were in Houston to attend a wedding. The hotel is a beautiful building and spotlessly clean. All of the staff were very friendly and polite, yet totally professional and at your service. We were 4 adults - my wife & I, and my two college age boys. Our room was a king suite and double adjoining room. The decor... more

What started off as a relatively pleasant experience, concluded on a sour note. I am a business traveler. My business in a given city may take 3 days to week. I booked a room for 4 nights, paying on average $300 per night. My work ended early, and I informed the desk of my intent to check out a day... more
