Rooms were well-appointed and a good size. Beds were very comfortable Great sized, deep soaking tub in the bathroom. Our group did the breakfast buffet. Really good variety of cold and hot foods. They have a bar on-site. While we were there they even served warm cookies and drinks in the evening. Front desk staff were very professional. more

For a Christmas gift to myself and a couple of girlfriends, I got tickets to see the Nutcracker ballet. I decided it would be nice also to stay in a downtown Houston hotel near the Theatre District. There were several hotels I looked at in the area, but I settled on reservations with the Magnolia Hotel, primarily because I got... more

A cozy feel from the moment you walk through the doors, past the fire place to check in and up to your room. Special perks like daily happy hours, free wi-fi, milk and cookies at bedtime are just little things that make the stay count! Service and location are top notch! more

On our first night, the hotel seemed exclusive, calm, quiet, and very private. We thought we found a hidden gem that no one else knew about. Check-in went smoothly and the atmosphere was peaceful and serene. We loved our room on the 21st floor, and felt like royalty. But on Saturday, everything changed, totally and unexpectedly, in a very bad... more

Rooms and location were very good. They have an open concept bar on the second floor and meeting rooms on the third floor. What was strange, was they had loud annoying music playing in reception and on 2nd and 3rd floors. To talk on a cell you were practically forced outside. Close by are fantastic restaurants and their service is... more

We stayed at the Magnolia Houston, and I noticed that things were a little "down at the heels" as I waited in line at check-in. There was only one staff person, and a line of 6 people on a Friday night. We were then dismayed at the long checklist they had us initial: for example, they had me acknowledge that... more

Stayed in Houston with my 5-year old daughter for a visit with family. The rooms were large and comfy. Enjoyed the roof-top pool, fitness room, and downtown location. The staff was outstanding - very friendly and helpful. more

I stayed here for two nights in September. I upgraded to a "studio" so there was a little kitchenette area when first walking intot he room. The room was spacious the bed was super confortable as were the pillows! There were no forks or plates and I told the concierge before leaving for the market, by the time I retunred... more
