Stayed for a business trip. Comfortable rooms, everything worked. Great location for downtown. A bit dusty given the construction work around hotel. Downside - breakfast was too boring. After the second day you just prefer to head to the cafe outside the lobby or the coffee shops downtown.

I've stayed at several hotels while in Houston on business. The Magnolia always had clean, spacious rooms and a nice atmosphere. There are lots of places to eat within walking distance. At the end of the day, unwind with their happy hour and then some free cookies and milk before bed!

We stayed at the Magnolia for 2 nights. The hotel is situated right downtown and is steps away from great restaurants and trains. The free cocktails between 5:30 and 6:30 are an added bonus as is the fully equipped gym. My only complaint is the $30 charge incurred on the "business centre" computer when I went to print 4 pages... More

Room was extremely comfortable and urban. I felt as if I was in my own studio apartment living downtown. Restaurants within walking distance make this a convenient choice. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable regarding local attractions. Complimentary Happy Hour was busy but a nice break after a day of meetings.

I would give Magnolia hotel 10 stars. It's perfect location allowed me to walk to my event at the convention center and the serenity in my room was wonderful. The hotel smells like a piece of heaven and the concierge were hospitable. Valet were awesome guys, they were always ready to lend a hand outside of their job description.

The signature suite is surprisingly large and for the price, a great deal in my opinion. A comparably priced executive suite at the Four Seasons just a few blocks away pales in comparison. The staff was friendly, the complimentary shuttle service was a plus and the room was more than comfortable. Overall, great hotel.

First time in Houston for a wedding and stayed here as part of the party. Reservations went smooth via a phone call. Agent was very helpful in providing info and tips for our day of arrival. Since we were in town for a few days a rental car was a necessity for us. The hotel offered parking at $25.00 a... More

We were a little disappointed with Houston in general so this may effect this review. We had 2 days in Houston on our way to Greece. The hotel was fine but nothing to get excited about. Definitely questionable 4 stars. Gym is good - but pool is tiny. Rooms decent size and ok decor. Staff pretty blah. If we had... More

My brother and I stayed in this hotel for one night, but we wish it had lasted more than just one day. To begin with, the roof has an amazing view of Houston. The breakfast was also quite good. As we checked in late, we weren't able to attend the cookie hour so I cannot say anything about it. The... More
