This is probably the worst hotel I have been to (and I have been to a lot all over the world). We checked in around 7 pm and found one lamp not turning on. When we called the front desk, they said "just plug it in". My husband had to move a nightstand to plug the lamp in. Shortly after that, we heard dogs barking and running above us! We called front desk again to ask what was going on. I know I booked a "no pets" hotel because I am allergic to cats and dogs. We were told that there is a convention nearby and so they allowed dogs. We asked management to make the noise stop but thirty minutes later, the noise was just getting worse. At 11 pm, we asked to be moved to a different room so that we could sleep. They did move us to a room ABOVE the noise so my husband said that would not work. They moved us to a farther room that had no phone, no extra lamp (it was so dark), and was missing a dresser. When we asked for a phone to be connected the next day, the phone never came. I was just so glad to be out of there, and regretted that we had to stay two nights. One last thing, we were told by the front desk rep that breakfast was not included. I checked the email of my booking and it did say that breakfast was included. We did get the breakfast included, but she was just so quick to say one thing without even checking our reservation! The management just seemed so unprofessional especially for a Marriott hotel! Be warned!

There is a reason why this hotel costs so little compared to others. This is seemingly a very old hotel. As soon as I got into the free airport shuttle I should have known how it was going to be. Literally there were stains all over the seats which really grossed me out. It’s not that hard to get those types of stains out, would it really kill someone to try and clean it? Supposedly it has a bar/restaurant area but there was never any service there and no customers were ever there. The room was very dirty and hasn’t been given a deep cleaning in a very long time. There was dirt and dust all over the fixtures in the bathroom. The toilet seat turned yellow? Which I assume was white before. Everything was old and needs updating. They had two shampoo bottles and one conditioner, but no shower gel. The only good thing was the free shuttle and they took us on time to the airport. I would never ever stay there again and do not recommend to anyone. This is an embarrassment to the Marriott brand.

Do not stay at this hotel, avoid at all cost ! The hotel should not be a part of the Marriott Four Points Collection it should be a Motel! I am currently here for one more night but have been here since Thursday due to work project that our main group stayed at the Fairfield Inn. I wanted my team to stay at Four Points because of the better amenities like Bar/Restaurant/Business Center EtC. Please note I am from the hotel industry and have been for over 25 years. I try to give the hotel an opportunity to resolve but they didn't so I had to write this review. Check In- Informed the elevator was out. I'm ok with that but didn't like that we were three ladies and had to lug our luggage up three flights of stairs. Carpet very nasty in hallway but its a hallway. We thought the hotel was just out of order for one night...nope its still out and its Sunday. Guest room- Telephone didn't work, we asked for maintenance to come clean. They told us he was coming at 7am on Saturday morning. Its Sunday and still doesn't work Guest room malfunction lock Saftey: This was the biggest. We slept in our guest room with our locked malfunction and our room was open the entire night...Thank God no one came in our room while we were sleep. You open your door, when it closes the lock part of the door automatically came out which leaves the door ajar. Never in my life has this happened Bar- Bartender was sick no bar Cable: TV didn't work on Friday the night I wanted to watch TV our only night off. Business Center: Toner low, we asked if they had another...of course they didn't so we had to keep shaking to get our copies printed. General Manager- Didn't care told us she offered us a free breakfast at check in, that was fine because we assumed it was one night. She thought the free breakfast was enough. Mind you I paid for four rooms...She could care less. Even directed her team not to offer any discounts as I called them. They were apologetic but told she told them to offer nothing. At the end of the day service matters if you can't provide then accommodate. We we stuck here due to now the Fairfield next door was sold out!! Never stay at this hotel, if you do call before you go and ask questions.

I was late coming in so the airline referred me to this hotel. On the way in the neighborhood looked sketchy. I was scared to stay here. The hotel room was drab and the chair had stains in it. The only good thing to say about this hotel is clean bed and friendly staff.

Good hotel with great service and good staff. Vanessa was wonderful as always. Very refreshing with her welcoming team and proper communication, attitude and understanding. We will stay again when he hit the area. Not a lot to do her though.

Last minute visit to Houston for an family emergency and this place was great for the price. My room was clean and freindly staff. Only bad thing the restaurant/bar won’t open till later this month so you must pick up found when your out. Also you have to leave to drive up gulfway to pick up food because nothing is walking distance really but a bbq restaurant and gas station but too hot for that. Not much to do that’s close to hotel but I would stay again for a quick drop in for an emergency.

Vanessa is super fantastic. Took care of all my needs. She is a great asset of this hotel. Also encountered Aaron, cool dude. The rooms are extremely comfy and clean. Will come back to this property. Would love to have the bar open so I can chill in the lobby.

Hotel is in rough condition. Marriott should be ashamed. Room and hotel in poor condition. Had to switch rooms. First room dirt all over floor. Apathetic staff. Restaurant not in operation. No breakfast options. Looks like they are trying to upgrade but brutal right now.

Flew in late to Houston-Hobby. We arrived around 10PM. Hotel clerk was non-speaking and cold and indifferent. Didn’t welcome us. Didn’t say anything. Took our last name and handed us our keys. And we asked about breakfast and she said they don’t do breakfast. The hotel should have that posted on their website. They hide behind Covid rules but if restaurant has been closed for a year then update the website. We stayed here because Four Points gives breakfast to Marriott Elite Members. Next time I fly into Hobby, I will stay someplace else.
