My wife and I stayed here over Christmas and really enjoyed it. The home is a late 1800's farm house so it does have it quirks. The room we were is was comfortable and the only one without a bathroom attached it was just across the hall but still private just ours. The house also has several other buildings to... More

A delightfully funky bed and breakfast inn, Robin’s Nest in Houston is full of oddities and surprises. If you like old houses and have a certain adventurousness, this is the place for you. Your stay includes a fine breakfast at a lavishly set communal table, from which you can see into the kitchen, and wander in there if you like.... More

We chose Linda Lee's Apartment because we were traveling with my mother at Christmas time. The 2 bed/1bath apt seemed like a great choice for us. The Good: The breakfast table is beautifully set with a whimsical assortment of china & breakfast was tasty. The large dining table seats 10 for breakfast and made for pleasant conversation during the breakfast... More

We stayed here for a local wedding - it was beautiful. Large room, great staff, good snacks! Walking distance to most things and comfy neighborhood. I would recommend! Lots of photo ops on property and off!

Last October my husband and I visited Houston for the grand reunion of my husband's Alma Mater, the Houston High School for the Visual and Performing arts. We booked a room at Robin's Nest to spend one night before our room at the official reunion hotel was avaiable. First surprise when we arrived - we knew that Montrose is a... More

My daughter and I met from different parts of the country to visit children/nieces/cousins in Houston. This was the perfect place for us. We had Rustic Robin and indeed it IS Rustic, but comfortable and had everything we needed. 2 separate sleeping spaces and a little kitchen for late night tea. Robin, Maria and the staff were helpful and fun... More

My husband and I have come to Houston each November for the Nutcracker Market for the last 11 years and have stayed at the Robin's Nest for the last 9. We have stayed in the Little Nest, a part of the small house in the back, in the Martha Mae room, with its alcove and built in twin bed, but... More

Loved Robin's Nest, our room was spacious and comfortable (we chose Antonio's room in the Big Nest) which had its own bathroom and kitchenette. Breakfast was excellent and it was ideal to meet other guests and get recommendations for things to do in Houston. My tip is to make sure you have the access code to the gate before you... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. It is my distinct pleasure to have you under our roof; I remember you well and look forward to your return. It is reassuring that in such an urban neighborhood that is only a few blocks from the freeway, the Inn is so quiet. I think it's these older houses. They were built... More
