I'd LOVE to give this a 5 star review. It was very clean and tidy, as well as eccentric (which was intriguing). There were definite ways the owners made this an interesting B&B with little touches here and there that made it fun and whimsical. The restroom may have had the cleanest bathtub I've ever seen in my life. I... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. Today the heat index is 106 degrees; no rain in sight. I thank you very much for the heads up. I've asked Maria to stop renting the top floor of the Big Nest unless we are full and then only with the caveat that it may not cool down until late in the... More

Let me start by saying I am a bit unusual myself so an unusual setting suits me rather well. I just spent 4 night in the Robin's Nest B&B. I felt like Alice in Wonderland. I found the place at the last minute when my fried called to say she needed surgery and could I come to Houston to help... More

Robin's nest is like going home for a stay. That is, if home is down the rabbit hole and into wonderland! This place is incredibly whimsical and warm. the beds are fluffy the showers are invigorating, the amenities are plentiful and the breakfast is out of this world. Water, fruit and chocolates were the little touches that impressed me the... More

Robin nest is one of the best places to stay in Houston. I was here as a patient attending MD Anderson Cancer Center. The staff was so tremendously helpful in accommodating me with my medical condition. Maria the host is the best, although I have met Robin most of my dealings have been with Maria and she's exceptional.

Robin's Nest is one of a kind. It's an older Victorian-style house full of bric-a-brac and with walls painted in bright patterns, almost psychedelic. My upstairs room was large, comfortable, clean, and quiet. Wi-Fi worked fine. The New York Times was available in the morning. Robin herself cooked a full breakfast, with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, toast, juice, and coffee,... More

If you are into modern and new, this is not your place. But if you like old houses and whimsy, this is a hidden treasure. The location can't be beat. It is within walking distance to Houston's performing arts high school and the University of St Thomas. Easy walk to area restaurants. Robin and her staff were very friendly and... More

It was not bade but the bed was very uncomfortable. The wifi was not working. The breakfast was not that great to me. My friend liked it thought the breakfast was marvelous. It was not wroth $180 night. I would have paid $20 more to stay in a hotel.

Staying at Robin's Nest is like staying in a contemporary art installation that has a comfortable bed and whirlpool tub. My husband and I came for a museum weekend. This splendid B&B is three minutes from fun restaurants and all museums, and less than ten from the Houston theater district. Everything was beautiful and whimsical, comfortable and hospitable. We had... More

My husband just got back from our 6th annual visit to the Robin's Nest. The décor is wonderfully artistic and the breakfast is always fantastic! We don't need a vacation home with this neighborhood gem.

The exterior of Robin’s Nest delighted us as we pulled up. The entire place is hand painted and decorated whimsically. We stayed in the “Rustic Robin” which is half of the small house that stands between the two larger homes that make up Robin’s Nest. We found our quarters to be extremely clean and comfortable and outfitted with everything we... More
