First stay at a Hyatt Place hotel. I think they all used to be Amerisuites....WOW what a difference! Really cool art deco kind of lobby, very comfortable. Staff was great and helpful. Room had huge flat screen tv and great bed. Free wireless which worked well for me. Breakfast was ok but you have to purchase hot items. Pool is... more

Just stayed there one night for a wedding in Houston. Needed a place somewhat close to the airport and on the way to the church. My flight got me into Houston around 10AM and Even though check-in isn't until around 3 or so I think, the desk let me check in at 10 as soon as I arrived around 10:30!... more

We stayed in this hotel because it was close to the IAH airport but I would stay here again if I returned to Houston. The room was huge with two queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa. It had beautiful contemporary furnishings and great toiletries. The 50+ inch TV was amazing. They also provided a great breakfast and had a... more

If you are relying on a hotel for a shuttle to get you to the airport, forget this one. The shuttle runs only once per hour. On Saturdays, they have no driver until 8 a.m. We stayed there on business and needed to rely on the shuttle to get us to and from the airport each day for 3 weeks.... more

The standard design of the Amerisuites rooms is efficient (half wall separating sitting area/ kitchenette from bedroom/ bath area with tv viewable from both areas). The staff was friendly upon check-in. Our internet worked just fine. However, we found the beds to be very uncomfortable (lots of springs in your back). The room needed an update (worn looking carpeting). And... more

I've been a member of the Hyatt Gold Passort since it started last year and I stay with the Amerisuites a lot. My main problem is the staff of the Amersuites and it really does not matter which one I stay in, fails to report my stay to Hyatt Gold Passport system. It's a great system that I use a... more

The hotel advertises that all rooms are internet enabled.Alas, this is not the case.I tried for a couple hours to fix this myself , all to no avail.Management were useless in trying to get the situation sorted and they no longer have an on site business centre. They did recommend that I go to FedEx across the way where i... more

This hotel seemed like other Amerisuites that we have stayed in. The room was large and clean. The high speed internet worked great. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. We didn't try the breakfast this time. No complaints. more

Suites are very spacious and clean. Staff are exceptional. Breakfast plentiful and free. Would be best to hire a car but be warned not for the faint hearted!! Cost of cab to downtown $25 - $30 each way. Minute Maid Park is worth a visit. more
