We needed a place to stay for the night before our early morning flight and this was an affordable choice as we booked via an online rate matching policy. Hotel was newly renovated and clean. Rooms are nice -- LOVE the flat panel TVs. Bathroom was a little small, but we were only there for one night. Not much around... more

We had our family reunion in Houston June 19-21 and the Hyatt Place was the HUB for our reunion. Pros: We paid 85 dollars before tax which was a great price for the amenities Staff was excellent and attentive. The hotel was very nice, clean with modern beautiful decorations! Tawanda (sp) was great! She was affable and pleasant. She was... more

I stayed here for a wedding. The hotel had a nice contemporary/modern design. The room was a little small, especially the bathroom. My biggest complaint came after I left. I checked my credit card, and they charged me twice. I booked the hotel through orbitz, and the Hyatt charged me again on the card I gave for incidentals. They told... more

We love this hotel but were really disappointed with the breakfast offered. They force you to order off a menu at an extra charge if you want anything hot to eat. more

We moved from another hotel and were very pleased. * Room is spacious and just as it appears in the photos. * VERY CLEAN * Bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. * The large couch was great with plenty of room and the ottoman is a great place for a food tray or a work area. * Refrigerator,... more

The Hyatt Place line is the Hyatt umbrella's response to the mid-scale entries by its competitors (Courtyard by Marriott, Hampton Inn, etc). This Hyatt Place is slightly different than the others I've stayed at - still great stylish quality with the variation in the bathroom. Get their lowest rates by shopping on their website. Unlike one of the prior reviewers,... more

Was in town for a soccer weekend. Single soccer mom traveling alone. The boys were staying at a different hotel as a team. Iwas looking for safety and comfort. The parking lot was well lit and parking was close to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions getting me to the hotel and around town to... more

We stayed for one night in this hotel near Intercontinental Airport. I was expecting Hyatt luxury at $229 per night, but I got "economy inn" at $229 per night. This place is no better than the $79 inns that dot the area's freeways. The hotel messed up our reservation (wrong day), had no record of our Hyatt membership (their error)... more

We had went down to help Hurricane Ike victims, on our last day we wanted someplace close to the airport. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We printed a map on google to get to the airport which was confusing, so the staff told us an easier way and we didn't have any problems finding it. We ate at... more

We stayed here in September. The rooms are wonderful and the tv is AMAZING. Add to that a friendly staff and good food. I wish they had more of these everywhere. The rooms are also very roomy with a sectional couch, refrigerator, coffee maker. Very well decorated and updated as well. Again, love that high-def tv 42" plasma. After, the... more
