My husband and I were put up at this hotel after missing a flight on Continental due to hurricane Ike. This is the most disgusting place I have ever been!! We stayed here overnight on Continental's dime after missing our connection in Houston. I cannot imagine ever paying to stay here -- if it hadn't been free, I would have left. Absolutely the filthiest hotel I've ever stayed in. The bathroom was moldy, the bedroom tidy to the eye, but did not seem to be cleaned - ever. The bed covers smelled old and musty. The Clarion was much better than expected after all the sour reviews. The building shows some signs of it's age - but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle driver was exceptional. I would HIGHLY recommend the Clarion for an overnight - close to the airport - great for the prince. more
