We stayed here in August 2014 with our three boys. The people were great ! Becky, the owner, and her husband were very personable, down to earth, and accommodating. Hey anybody who gives me free french fries is okay in my book...lol The food in the diner is great ! The breakfast is wonderful. I was not expecting there to... More

We stayed in March 2014. The room was clean and looked recently repainted. The front desk people were very helpful, and the hotel was very quiet. I will stay here again on our next trip. They even mailed clothing back to me that I forgot to pack, most hotels would not have done that.

It isn't the Ritz but for advid bird photographers and birders, you couldn't be in a better place. We were welcomed by Silver Birder, Laura, who immediately keyed us into the best places to photograph nearby and down the road a piece. Our room was sparse but very clean. The owners and other workers were extremely friendly and the food... More

We stayed there to be close to birding at the Boy Scout Woods and Smith Oak Woods. First the carpet was very dirty. We found a polo shirt that had been left hanging up in the bathroom. Then we found an ashtray on the counter, we reserved a non-smoking room. The bath tub was very old didn't look very good,... More

We recently stayed 4 nights here on a birding trip and really enjoyed the delightful hospitality. Rooms are comfortable and the location is perfect for the migration highlights in Boy Scout and smith woods. Becky's puddings in particular are great - as is her catfish - order the chocolate special if she is making that!

Clean linens and off the beaten path from tourists. Just a skip form the beach. And a small shallow clean 5'ft pool to relax and float, including a shower spigot by the pool to rinse off after a trip to the beach. Conveniently located by a tiny little store. And outdoor small grills and picnic tables located in the back,... More

Enjoyed our stay and met our needs. Not a resort but was very nice to be so close to the beach and isolated from the crowds. Had fun in the pool and the owner was very helpful with our needs. We did bring our own shampoo and etc, refg. was good to put our food and drinks in too. Will... More

Was so surprised after reading so many good reports but won't go back . The door lock was worn out and we were not even locked in , found that out the next morning . We were first surprised to see a room that hadn't been cleaned but shortly after we got there they brought a crew of 6 people... More

Becky and Paul appear to be normal people trying to make a living. They were very helpful. I ended up getting sick, and they refunded the last day without any question. It is also less than a mile from the ocean. It is a wonderful find. My wife and I will visit again.
