Our family (myself, wife and son - 7 years) recently visited the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX. We had received a gift certificate over a year ago and looked forward to going, it was just a matter of finding the time. With excitement we arrived early on a Saturday afternoon and were thrilled with what looked to be a... More

We traveled to Great Wolf Lodge for our daughter's 6th birthday last week and we had a terrific time for the two nights we were there. We checked in our a Thursday and it was relatively quiet but the hallways were quite loud on Friday night. It was the beginning of spring break for many districts and there is no... More

My two boys loved the Magic Quest game and it was wonderful having the ability to buy the vouchers for the wand, game, wand topper and belt saved us lots of time. The room was ok, however, the bed was HARD and there was just a thin comfortor, or thick sheet to keep us warm. Seeing the prices for the... More

We go here at least once every 3 months and many times more often. It is our go to Christmas celebration spot and becoming the same for Halloween, Easter and other holidays. They are decorated beautifully for the holidays with themed fun for all. The girls love the waterpark and are addicted to Magic Qwest. We run up just to... More

Our family of five had high hopes for our GWL adventure. Unfortunately it was a sad let down for us all. At a ridiculously overpriced $300 per night you would think they would spring for at least a standard mattress instead of what felt like an old foldout mattress, and I'm not even talking about the kids bunks! It was... More

$450 a night is highway robbery for this place!! Not even worth it for the kids' sake. Rooms are about a 2 star quality- beds are not comfortable. Walls are so thin you hear every screaming kid and conversation. The food is waaaaay overpriced ($50 for lunch one day or terrible hot dogs and chicken strips). There are people and... More

Lots of fun for the kids, parents...not so much. We stayed in a Grizzly Bear Suite, $400 a night. NOT worth it!! Old, a little sad, bathroom door wouldn't close, hot water was connected to the cold side (marked cold) and cold water was on the left (marked hot), no hair dryer in one of the bathrooms so we all... SUMMARY: On the scale of Chuck-e-Cheese (1) to Disney Resorts (10) this is a 7.5. Better than expected water part experience offset by the fact it's a very expensive stay. We are a family of four with a 5yr and 9yr old kids. Love bang-for-the-buck type vacations where we can have fun experiences at a good price. Great Wolf Lodge... More

We were at the GWL in Grapevine for 4 days in February 2013. We had a standard king room which was very clean and had lots of space. This room was like a mini suite rather than a standard hotel room. The entire property was very clean. The food at the restaurants was very average but the convenience made up... More

We stayed for 2 nights this past week. It is our 4th time to visit and I doubt we will go back... We have season passes to sea world and /or six flags so I think we will stick to that. Our family of 11, including 6 children went. The older boys both had itchy, watery eyes and respiratory problems... More
