Hotel beautiful . Food is somewhat expensive. Nice for a convention. Excellent spa.

Having stayed at the Washington DC Gaylord I knew a little bit about what this hotel would be like. This time I took my child and teenager. They were happy for about 2 days then we needed to find stuff to do off site. I read the other reviews for this hotel and agree with most. Food, parking, everything is... More

The Texan is a very large hotel, well layed out with lots to do and see. The shopping is great and I was surprised that the prices at the on site shops were better than the local mall. The big screen T.V in the sports bar made my jaw drop and the food is fabulous with large Texas style portions.... More

I have now stayed at all 4 Gaylord facilities and the one thing that stands out at all of them is how well trained the staff is regarding customer service, which unfortunately, has practically become a lost art at many hotel and restaurant establishments. But at Gaylord, the staff is not only friendly, courteous and attentive, but also genuine in... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in April while attending a conference. It’s close to DFW airport. There really is a wow effect when you arrive here it is a very large hotel. The staff at check-in and in the bars / restaurants were all very nice and friendly throughout my stay. I ate breakfast in riverwalk cantina; nice omelettes.... More

Wife & I went to Dallas for a few days of early sunshine and relaxation with no particular plan. Stopped at the Texas visitor center on I-35 and volunteers there recommended Gaylord. We walked in to explore and were "Blown Away"! What an awsome indoor playground for all ages! The pool was Wonderful, the room was outstanding, and the restaraunts... More

Just stayed there this weekend and despite a few inconveniences, it was worth it. The hotel is amazing. Everything you need under ine roof, spa, restaurants, shopping, etc. The staff were all very friendly, especially Greg the doorman. He stood and talked with me while I was waiting for the shuttle. Great guy. We ate at the Riverwalk Cantina. The food... More

The Gaylord Texas was the epitome of a Texas Dream. It has the highlights of many Texas cities all wrapped up into one location. The Riverwalk was so pleasant at breakfast outdoors. The outdoor sports patio was perfect for networking. With the covered top, outdoor sitting was always available and pleasant. Couldn't ask for a better Texas feeling.

This is my second stay at a Gaylord Hotel. This Gaylord Texan is a nice hotel with good restaurants. The concierge service was horrible. We asked for a meal reservation to be made in Dallas at a famous seafood and steak restaurant. There was no reservation made, the Concierge did not follow up with us and when I asked a... More

We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of customer service and facilities for our guests, and this not the type of experience that our guests have come to expect at the Gaylord Texan. While it unfortunately did not meet the dates of your stay, we are excited to announce that Memorial... More

The look and feel of the hotel was right out of a John Wayne Classic! Old West with a little bit of modern flair. Very western meets modern. Every room had different decor and I absolutely loved the ambiance! Big hotel but easy to navigate your way around.
