My wife and I stayed at the Nutt House for one night. We were disappointed with our stay and would not recommend it to others. Here's what we liked and disliked: Liked: We liked the location - right in the middle of downtown Granbury. The hotel is on the central square, right across from Granbury's wonderful historic courthouse. There are... More

When an old friend got married in Granbury, we stayed at the Nutt house. Loved our room. Do wish the hotel had a bar. Great location on the historic square. Could use a bit more parking. Marvelous old building filled with antiques and Texas history. Haunted. I would stay here again 4 sure. One thing sucked: granbury was hosting a... More

Stayed here one night for a girls' weekend getaway. It's a good deal for the price compared to what you might pay at other B&B's. Its a very old historic building so don't expect perfection. Bathrooms are modern and fairly updated. Rooms could use a good cleaning and editing. There was a little too much furniture in our room -... More

A very historic place with a lot of history in it. You will be surprised at the amount of history that you will find in this town. The staff is very friendly and they will be more than happy to answer your questions. If you are coming to this town, you definitely have to check this place out, even if... More

I've stayed at the Nutt House many times over the years. Because of it's location right on the main square of Granbury it is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. There used to be a wonderful family-style restaurant on the first floor, but that has gone by the wayside in favor of the same stuff you see in every store... More

The hotel is just awesome. The rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques and very spacious. The morning breakfast was pretty good..real eggs not powdered. The staff makes you feel right at home. Will definitely stay there again

If you are interested in an authentic historic hotel experience, this is it. The Nutt House Hotel has been providing hospitality to guests for decades. Melinda greeted us warmly, showed us to our lovely room and invited us to treat ourselves to anything downstairs we might need on the "honor" system. What a lovely idea! The room and bed was... Drove up Saturday specifically to spend the afternoon shopping and a night in the quaint Nutt House Historic Hotel. This is my third stay with Melinda and her staff, so I felt like I was among old friends. The lobby and downstairs have been changed to accommodate a large selection of old-fashioned, penny candies. What a treat to bring home... More

We usually stay in Glen Rose but everything was booked so we ended up at the Nutt House. Great people and nice rooms in a cool old building. We didn't see a ghost but had a great time while we were there. We will be back.

We drove to Granbury with no specific plan on where to stay or what to do. Just a relaxing weekend. We unexpectedly stayed at the Nutt House. It was one of the best parts of our time away. Melinda (the owner) and her staff seemed like old friends immediately. After the staff leaves in the evening you just come and... More
