At first we were hesitant to drive 30 minutes off course to stay at "The Antlers Inn", after reading the reviews we decided to give it a try. Arrived super late 4am, rang bell and attendant came to give us our key, friendly enough since we woke her up. The room was comfortable and roomy and was a super excellent... More

This hotel was incredibly priced. They have a simple "carb up" breakfast. The owner was at the desk the next morning, and seemed genuinely happy to see us and visit with us. The room was clean and comfortable.

I'm handicapped and could not get a h-room so took what was available. The beds were to high for me and made it difficult to get in and out. I get up a couple times during the night so it was a problem. The tub had a curve bottom so not really safe for me to stand on to shower.

I stayed here at the request of my aunt. She is from Baytown Tx and they stay in Goliad, this their choice. I took up their to be at same lication as them and to my surprise, ended being a nice stay. The bed comfort was the most pleasant. I would stay again , even without any encouragement from my... More

I have to admit when I read the reviews it sounded too good to be true but the reviewers looked legitimate so off we went. And it is almost that good. Its an older refurbished motel with larger clean rooms having all the usual appliances. Now there are some minor, nitpicky items - shower head didn't have even water distribution,... More

I normally stay in national chain motels but after reading reviews I decided to try this one. Also it was the least expensive of all motels in the entire area. What a wonderful surprise!!!!! Small room but new furniture, fresh paint, comfy beds, new flatscreen HD tv and most important to me, blissfully clean. Its in a most important historical... More

We stayed in over 14 Motels/Hotels during a driving tour of Texas and can highly recommend Antlers Inn. The price was very reasonable and it gave us everything the more expensive motels did. Clean rooms, clean carpets, bed sheets and towels plus all the amenities such as a microwave, fridge, iron and dryer etc. The owners are friendly and warm... More

The staff is very friendly and they seem to want you there. The rooms are very nice and clean. I would stay there again and again. The best hotel I stayed in on my entire business trip. The rooms are at a very resonable rate as well. They did not charge an arm and leg for a place to sleep... More
