Our truck broke down in Gilmer. We had our little dog with us. I called this hotel & was told very rudely no pets allowed. No offer of help in trying to find us another alternative or anything. Just a very rude person on the other line. Would never stay here even if I didn't have my fur baby with... More

Checked in Thursday night at 11:06 pm. Rm 210. We left our room around 8:30 Sunday morning. Asked clerk day before if we needed to return key to office or could we leave it in room. Check out time was 11:00. We had a long trip home to Earle Arkansas . We left room intact. All garbage and linens in... More

My family and I have stayed in many hotels, whether it is visiting family or vacationing. I haven't stayed in one this bad since before I was old enough to afford decent hotels. The beds were raised up so high I had to literally climb up it ( I am 5'8"). The mattress and pillows were so hard that my... More

The Executive Inn in Gilmer is not a bad place to stay for a night or two. It was a clean room with a refrigerator and microwave in it. It has a bed that is pretty high up (good for tall people - a little harder for shorter people), but no big deal and it was fairly comfortable. The only... More

We were very please to find this Hotel (Motel really) in Gilmer Texas because that's where we were staying for a few days while off-roading at the TMTC / Barnwell Mountain ORV park. Oddly while trying to book on-line the search kept sending us straight to Longview, Texas... that's 30 miles away! The Executive Inn & Suites in Gilmer, Texas... More

The beds were comfy during all 3 of my stays at this hotel...and, the service is good and the air conditioning works. That's why I keep coming back to this hotel when I stay in Gilmer. The only thing that caused me to rate it at average instead of very good is because of my very last stay in May-2013.... More

This is the Ramada Limited. It is now the Executive Inn. The old Ramada Limited signs are still on the doors. There are only two hotels in Gilmer, the Gilmer Inn and this one. They do NOT allow pets. Our family stayed here one night when a thunderstorm knocked out the power at our house and a falling tree branch... More

We stayed here on a Friday night. The room was large. Was able to park close to the door. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning worked good, but was quite loud. The room has a slight odor, might help if it was aired out. Bathroom could have been cleaned better, also the room could have been cleaner. Breakfast was cereal, frozen... More
