Excellant location to all touring sites. Beach location was wonderful. There's nothing else I can say. No problems. Again there's nothing else I can say, Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks. Some survey are too structured. Sometimes your really don't have a lot to say other then everything was wonderful.

We took a family trip to Galveston for Spring Break, and the location of the hotel was awesome. It was right on the beach, and close to everywhere we wanted to go. The service was great, and the room was nice and very clean. The breakfast was good too. The only problem we had was the weather. It was foggy... More

Can't believe this is the same place that other reviewers gave such low ratings. Yes, it is an older location but well-kept and the room was clean and appeared to have been recently refurbished. The bed was comfortable; the staff very pleasant and helpful. Restaurants within walking distance. We stayed here for a pre-cruise stay and was very pleased -... More

Over $500 for 3 nights, and the experience was a disaster. Motel with an "M": loud people, thin walls. Probably built in 1960's and never updated. Breakfast was pure carbs (awful muffins, DIY waffles, cereal). My clothes accidentally fell between toilet and wall, and they were so hairy and dirty I got a fresh outfit. Yuck. Staff tried to be... Just left this morning. Throughout the stay the front desk was kind, but they couldn't make up for the elevator being in-op for our entire stay (2 nights/3 days). My husband is weak from chemo treatments so this was a huge imposition. We always look forward to a USA Today when staying at La Quinta's, but none offered at this... More

We stayed at the La Quinta Inn Galveston East Beach before our cruise. We got a room with 2 beds and they were full size not queen size beds so that was a bit uncomfortable. The room was adequate but could have been updated. There are areas of the hotel that are showing some wear and tear from the salt... More

The outside of the buildings needs paint and cleaning up. The parking lot was also very uninviting. Our room was OK but the outside hallways are wet and dingy. Cons of the room: It took 5 minutes of running the water to get hot water; the ceiling light in the bathroom was out; there was water in the refrigerator; the... More

Same as before. I responded earlier in this survey. Hot water took forever. Outside halls and entrance are beaten up and need plaster and paint. Staff was nice and friendly. I don't care for the room coffee maker guess I'm older and need a coffee pot of some sort.

I stayed here for one night while in town for work. I finally was able to check in later at night and upon entering my room discovered that none of the lights in the room turned on. Except for the bathroom. This due partially because of the missing light bulb in one lamp. The only other thing I could sense... More
