Way over priced....average place to stay. Close access to beaches, restaurants, groceries. Continental breakfast was average. Hotel amenities were average. Originally requested room with king bed but had to settle for room with two full beds. Room had overwhelming musty odor. No other rooms available.

This was a stay prior to a cruise, arriving and found the staff very efficient and friendly. Our registration was quick and simple. Everything was very clean, fom the room to breakfast area as well as the lobby. this was no easy feat as they are completely redoing all their rooms. They still have some outside work that they are... More

Our group stayed here January 30th, 2014. This was our 2nd stay here, but this time we had a friend visit. A cockroach was on the vanity sink area. We love cheap, and we're not picky, but I can't do cockroaches. We are going to stay at Days Inn next October. Yes, more expensive, but no unwanted guests! :( Also,... More

Expedia glitched and booked me the wrong night. I called the hotel about a dozen times trying to reschedule and was either told to call back, they would call me, or that person wasn't available. I really wanted to stay here for my cruise and then park and leave the car. I took it as a learning loss not to... More

The worse smelling room ever! Did not stay because of the smell. The area seems ok but the minute I entered the room, the smell hit me like a ton of bricks. Smelled like animal urine. Please do not even waste you time.

When we first arrived, I was a little afraid of what we'd gotten our selves into. The outside of the building wasn't exactly pleasing to the eye, however upon entering the room my opinion of the outside didn't matter. Room was very welcoming. Staff cleaned and refreshed towels in a timely manor. My only complaint was that the tub could... More

Old hotel, roaches in room, couples fighting/screaming in front of the hotel, lousy service in the lobby, deadbolt broken in another room that was substituted for first room! Stay somewhere else if you can afford it!

I had to comwplained numerous times for filthy room hair in sink bathtub scum microwave not working properly refridgirator leaking. Also witnessed the staff cursing at the alleged superior,Chris as he entertained the nonsense and was extremely... More

Taking one week cruise stay there for a night. It's just less than $20 taxi drive to port. we can leave a car in there place while we are gone and no charge. Room is OK, locate on front of sea wall, a big grocery store and restraint behind. To Strand, Moody Garden all attraction 10-15 minutes very convenient. Price... More

For the cheapest price on Galveston I could find, I was not expecting so much but my room was so clean and doesn't stink like the other cheap ones in Galveston. Lastly, the reception was so accommodating after I requested a lower floor room. Nice experience and I found a regular motel for my fishing trips in Galveston.
