Ellen & Blair made our stay in Galveston delightful. Location is an easy and safe walk to the Historic Strand area and great restaurants. We spent New Years eve and they even included us in their celebration! Again GREAT food, festivities, and conversation. We were on a "road trip" from San Diego to New Orleans and this turned out to... More

We loved this B&B. The location as just minutes away from everything and Ellen and Blair had great recommendations as to where to eat and shop. The breakfast was incredible and their hospitality will definitely spoil you. We plan on returning as often as we can and we've recommended this B&B to a few friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Victorian home while we explored Galveston on our first visit to the area. The festival of Dickens on the Strand is not to be missed, and staying in such a gracious setting enhanced our experience. Ellen is extremely helpful in offering information about things to see in the area, and her breakfasts... More

This B&B is in a beautiful old house on a quit street in Galveston. We stayed in "Victoria's room" with a private balcony which was really nice. The owner, Ellen was a lovely lady who cooked a wonderful breakfast in the morning. There were complimentary wine, soft drinks and cookies.

We found our new home away from home in Galveston this weekend at Coppersmith Inn! What a wonderful bed and breakfast! Wonderful innkeepers Ellen & Blair, best breakfasts ever, great hospitality and two very special fur babies! Could not have been better! We will be back soon!

The owner is easy going and the atmosphere of this B&B is laid back. We made our reservations on the spur of the moment and the only room available was Clara's Cottage behind the house. If you enjoy B&Bs, the inside rooms are probably a better value, although we did enjoy our stay. The featherbed and high quality linens are... More

We had such a wonderful time when we were here for Dickens on the Strand in 2013. We were right at home in our Victorian apparel in this amazing house. It was built in 1858 and still has much of the original wood and wavy windows. all beautifully maintained by our gracious hosts, Ellen and Webb. They put on quite a... More

My wife and I booked the two main suites at the Coppersmith from Ms Whalley for the thanksgiving long weekend this month for both ourselves and our friends the bride and groom. We had the Carriage House over the back building. It was huge and lovely and just perfect with the corner jacuzzi and all amenities. We added the Clara's... More
