We only had the pleasure of staying one night at Coastal Dreams, but it was a lovely experience. Lana seems to have struck the balance between being a cordial and helpful host without being too intrusive in our plans or time at the inn--something we find is often difficult to get in the small B ´n B experience. The inn... More

We only stayed in Galveston one night, but our experience was wonderful! Lana has cookies waiting for you when you get there and the atmosphere is very homey and personalized. Breakfast in bed was great and the postcard with stamp included was such a cute idea!

This was our third visit to Coastal Dreams and we are ready to return. Every visit has been special and memorable. Breakfast is always a treat, the bicycles are ready and in the warm weather the pool is a relaxing retreat. Lana goes out of her way to make sure everything is just right and helps you find the perfect... More

My wife and I have stayed here several times and there is absolutely no way we would stay anywhere else. The hostess is extremely polite and ready to help you out anyway she can from making reservations at restaurants to looking up what special events are happening. Not to mention that the breakfast will be the best meal you will... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your kind thoughts with us and other travelers. We enjoy helping our guests make the most of their time in Galveston - there is so much to do! Coming up quick is Mardi Gras, which runs February 21st - March 4th this year. The parades and bead throwing are so much fun!... More

Lana serves a decadent breakfast. Would you like that delivered to your room in a cute basket with linen napkins? No problem! Honestly, you can stay there and never leave the premises and become rejuvenated. The beds are oh so comfy, especially the luxurious linens! The pool area is very relaxing and the charm of the rooms takes you to... More

It sounds like you really enjoyed your stay here - we certainly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with others. The bicycles do provide a great way to get around town - everything is so close here. The beach is just a few blocks away and the popular historic Strand area just a mile or so. The... More

The owner was so available for our every need. She was willing to make a wonderful breakfast according to my husband's dietary restrictions. We especially enjoyed knowing about the history of the house. Some of the descendants visited her by surprise and brought a scrapbook full of photos and stories about the family and their experiences in the 1900 Great... More

My husband and I stayed in this Bed and Breakfast in December 2013. Lana went above and beyond her duties to provide excellent service. The food, cleanliness, quality of room, everything was exceptional. Further, everything was exactly as described on her website. The information you receive from her site allowed me to accurately compare her place to others. I appreciated... More

We stayed here 2 nights as a anniversary get away. Launa is amazing. I love the house, it was like sleeping in my own bed. The breakfast was so good and very filling. We even had breakfast in bed one morning. I would definitely stay here again

Just returned from a really enjoyable stay in Galveston @ the Coastal Dreams Bed & Breakfast. The house is delightfully comfortable, quiet and certainly a must stay if you are in the area. We stayed in the Gulf room, which was nicely furnished, and has more of side view of the neighboring houses than a direct street view. Bed and... More

Coastal Dreams Bed & Breakfast was an amazing place to stay. My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights in September to finish out the summer with some R&R and some beach time. Lana was awesome, her breakfasts were amazing, and the house was adorable. Comfy and quaint retreat in a beautiful historic home. Galveston, on the other hand,... More
