My husband and I had originally planned on taking a Carnival cruise the first part of March but due to Triumph's troubles, the cruise was cancelled. We still wanted to take a vacation and decided to head to Galveston. We used Tripadvisor reviews and decided on Coastal B&B. We were not disappointed! Lana was there to great us at check... More

We loved our stay in Galveston. Lana was a great hostess and helped us plan where to visit and where to eat. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was kindly prepared and enjoyed with the other couples who were staying at the Bed and Breakfast.

We have started staying in B&B's rather than Hotels and this is one of the best ones we have had the pleasure to stay 2 nights, The Pacific room with its own balcony overlooking the pool is amazing, breakfast is excellent and the bed was big, with soft sheets and soooo comfortable. Lana helped with all her local knowledge and a... More

As others have said, the quiet location and convenient free parking make this an ideal base when visiting Galveston. We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The house is interesting and the owner has done a good job in keeping the original style and character of the house. Guests are invited to make use of the lounge... More

The location was perfect, the room was very nice (and quiet) , the bed was very comfortable - especially the soft sheets and blanket, and breakfast and coffee service was phenomenal and Lana helped us in every way she could. This is what the Bed and Breakfast experience should be and why a person would choose this type of accommodation... More

I was scheduled to go on the Carnival Triumph for a birthday cruise. Canceled the cruise when told they were having engine trouble. SO GLAD I DID! Looked for an alternative in Galveston and found Coastal Dreams. What a special place. I stayed in the Pacific Room. This is what you would want your summer place to feel like. Lana... More

We stayed here two nights during Mardi Gras. This is a fantastic B & B, the innkeeper's attention to detail is excellent, seems like she thought of everything. It is very clean, rooms are well stocked with bath ammenities and the small refrigeratror is a big plus. Super comfortable beds, good assortment of pillows, I like very soft, wife likes... More

My husband and I frequent B&B's so we are accustomed to fine places, and this is one of the finest. Our room was cozy but has lots of charm. The breakfasts were delicious. It's easy to get around Galveston and the Inn is located well. We did a self guided tour of the tree sculptures and beautiful old homes of... More

The history of Galveston, and it's unique charm with the Victorian architecture and interesting shops, is what appeals to so many that come here. I'm glad you were able to see some of the local flair, including Gaido's (which is a personal favorite). Thank you for taking the time to share your review and let me know if I can... More

We went to Coastal Dream Bed & Breakfast Jan 2013. Although it was our first bed & breakfast experience, nothing was unpleasant, nothing was unprofessional-- the entire time there was amazing. It's located literally around the corner and down the street from the beach and the various eateries. Lana provided a exquisite breakfast! It was a great 1st experience--whenever we... More
