I stayed in this hotel during the Diva run weekend. We arrived at the hotel after a four hour drive and was able to check in early. When I say early it was before noon. There wasn't anyone at the counter when I first got inside and after about 5-10 minutes someone came to the desk. I can't remember the... More

Hotel is in good location, little bit far from main part of the Galveston beach but not too far. Pool of this hotel is maybe best part of this hotel, it is nice and so is pool bar. Rooms are good quality rooms what you can normally expect from Coyrtyard Marriots but Air Condition unit was like straight from year... More

New, two year old building, four stories, nicely decorated, friendly staff. Pool designed for all ages to use. We would visit again. Has all the facilities one might need. We were able to check in early with a room that was clean and ready for us.

Made a trip for business but was lucky to have the chance to stay at this hotel. It had a very friendly staff and room cleanliness was terrific. The balcony was a wonderful place to sit and relax after along day because the view was amazing. The pool and fire pit out back of the hotel was also a great... More

This is a great hotel and appears to be fairly new and the staff are courteous and friendly. The room is spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. Rooms on the front of the building have a great view of the gulf; those on the rear overlook the pool. The room had a small refrigerator but no microwave (there is... More

Thus is a pretty hotel at the western end of Galveston island. There is water across the street w/a beautiful paved path, but the beach is rocky. Rooms are very nice. No probs w/sound or elevator noise. Beds extremely comfortable. Room clean. Service was typical Marriot excellence. DezmonTinsley was the hotel barista and we overheard very nice compliments about him.... More

This hotel had a great view of the bay. It was clean and very quite. Depending on what you are looking for, it somewhat isolated, it is a short drive away from main dining options, university, and cruise ship boarding area. If you want a nice spot to stay, that does not offer free breakfast (its a typical Courtyard), then... More

Typical Courtyard room with 2 exceptions; killed 3 bugs in the bathroom while I was there. Tried to call the front desk to complain, no phone in the room. Stayed one night and left. I will stay at the Hampton next trip. Would not recommend for business travelers.

Went to Galveston for a quick getaway and met other family members. The hotel was very nice and the staff were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend getting a gulf facing room, especially one with a balcony. The rooms were very nice with comfortable beds. The only disappointment was housekeeping service. We had three couples and none of our rooms... More

My wife and I and 3 of our children ages 11 through 15 stayed here the night before our cruise. While the hotel is not walking distance to the Cruise pier it is perfect! The hotel has great views and has a shuttle that will basically take you anywhere you want to go on the island! The hotel is probably... More
