It's a nice enough place to stay. I do agree with the other reviews that the owner is very friendly and helpful, but not the best housekeeper. If you want super clean, stay somewhere else. It is a short walk to the sea wall.

Room reviews: south pacific Pros: excellent frittata, kind and welcoming owner that will go out of her way to accomodate your needs, a lovely balcony, chocolate chip cookies were phenomenal, and there is a nice jacuzzi tub. Cons: French toast was too sweet and doughy, attention to cleanliness is sub par, bed squeeks, fridge is on floor with coffeepot on... More

My husband and I got married here 3 days ago on 5/15/14. We also stayed overnight in the Rainforest Room. We did a very small 6 person wedding & it was such a beautiful & stress-free experience. Connie was amazing from day one! She emailed the day after we reserved the Rainforest Room to ask our breakfast preferences! The beauty... More

Three of us stayed for the weekend...we took out the South Pacific and the small room that is across the hall, all in the main house. The decor was great...it even had a little patio to sit on and enjoy the ocean breeze! There was a small refrigerator in the room, which was convenient. The bed was amazingly soft and... More

We stayed in the safari room & my mom in the South Pacific room. Both were great. The breakfasts were amazing & the location easy to get to a lot of places on the island. The owners were super nice & helpful with recommendations on things to do. She was very prompt with the reservations and accommodating. The beach is... More

We stayed one night here before cruising on the Carnival Magic. Connie was very friendly and the house was elegant yet comfortable. We stayed in the South Pacific room which had a very comfortable bed. Connie's chocolate chip cookies were a perfect treat when we got home from walking around The Strand on Art Night, recommended by Connie. Breakfast was... More

Lovely place for a small outdoor wedding. Very charming. The gazebo was beautiful & well decorated. You don't need to add anything for a perfect ceremony! We didn't stay at the B&B, but it looked very nice & well kept.

I stayed at Avenue O B&B last year also in the Safari Room. It is both unique and comfortable. A new wooden floor had been installed since that first time. The bathroom is a trifle old but functional and clean. Connie is an amicable hostess whose smile will instantly put you at ease. She welcomes everyone with equal enthusiasm and... More

Connie and Jim are down to earth and comfortable to be around. Main house is antique with hippy touches. They know area and are helpful, thoughtful of ones' comfort. The beds and pillows are down ; so if one is allergic ; the feathers , rugs and cat hair might be a bother but all in all ; the two... More

This is a casual warm, friendly B&B. The room & bathroom were very clean. The location of the B&B is ideal because it is located close to EVERYTHING. The room was separate from the main house and very quiet. Anything we needed... they had and if they didn't , they made sue to find it for us. Excellent restaurant recommendations!... More
