We stayed here prior to our cruise. The hotel is very dated but clean and the people are helpful. We were able to leave our car there and for $5 there was a shuttle to the pier. It was a good deal and the cost of the room was inexpensive

If you are staying here for the free parking and shuttle to the cruise terminals, then beware. They made us wait over an hour in the hot Galveston sun before picking us up. After numerous phone calls we were finally picked up by an elderly man, who I hate to say this was way too old to load and unload... More

We stayed at your hotel from 08/30 – 09/01 and I wish I could say it was a wonderful stay but I cannot. During our stay someone tried to get into our room twice (drunk Hispanic guy), someone decided to key a giant X the size of the entire door on my dad’s new truck, room 379 the door would... More

I was feeling pretty skeptical given some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We were just looking for a place to stay pre- cruise and because we wanted to save $ we took the risk. Beds were comfortable and clean, bathroom was clean, room was large and also clean. Air conditioning worked great. We stayed in... More

The only problems that I had with the hotel: In the new building, the air is like dry and it's very hot in the elevator. The luggage carts look like they have been through hell and back. I would recommend for new carts because the one that i used broke on the elevator. Maybe some automatic doors so it could... More

First, I would've never booked this motel if it weren't for Tripadvisor's positive reviews. Galveston motels are very tricky -Galveston for the most part is stuck in the 60s but its part of its charm. You have to be very careful booking places. I strongly disagree with some recent reviews. First, the location is rather remote but with a car... More

My family and I stayed in this hotel on Labor Day weekend for a little getaway and was very disapointed in this hotel. The pool was green and the putt putt was tore up and old and not taken care of. Our rooms were not cleaned the next day and had to ask for extra towels and shampoo. Not a... More

We purchased a Groupon for this hotel and we pretty much got what we paid for, which wasn't much. It is an older hotel and not well maintained. It's not terrible, but we did request the housekeeping to come in and vacuum the floors in the 3 rooms we had reserved. There was also an odor, which varied in how... More

While the staff were very polite and helpful, the location was awful. We did not have a car with us as we were only staying one night (thank goodness) but when we asked what was close by to walk to, we were informed there was nothing near by except their own restaurant on the premises, not even a store. The... More

We got a killer deal for our room via Priceline so if we had paid the average rate I would have been even more disappointed. Here's some highlights: POOL: bring a towel because there aren't any at the pool LOBBY: extremely outdated, staff was nice ROOM: stains all over the carpet, an un-identifiable sticky mess on the dresser, and some...
