We've stayed at this hotel several times over the past decade. The positives: it's in a wonderful location; the rooms (for us) have been clean; the front desk staff has been friendly and helpful. The negatives: something always seems to be in the middle of repair; room service is often slow (we've had to call to have our rooms cleaned... more

We were in Galveston for a conference, and enjoyed our stay. When I read the reviews of other people, I was a bit worried, but when we go there, everything was fine, no loitering, or noisy, or any scary things. It was really nice being so close to the beach. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull, the rooms... more

This hotel is very clean, and the employees are quite friendly and helpful. We were on a mini vacation, and my husband and I loved this hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good time! more

We stayed with our family and 3 yr old granddaughter as we needed to attend wedding on cruise ship early the next morning. Room was clean and plenty of towels for 3 adults/1child. It is right next door to Krogers on one side and good mexican restuarant on other side. Yes there is noise thru the night but we are... more

We showed up during the day and drove through the parking garage. There were numerous people loitering in the parking lot and driving around in late model vehicles with darkened windows. We were concerned to the point that we parked in the front of the building even though it was raining. There was a bunch of noise way into the... more

For the price of $179 a night, it was overpriced for what you got. Rooms are extremely small, no towels, had to call room service for towels. A/C didn't work right, kept shutting off. Should have been priced around $100, and that's generous, it's right on the Seawall so I guess they can get away with charging $179 a night.... more

We stayed two nights here. The location is great right across from the beach and close to 61st street. Also right next door to a Kroger. This hotel has nice covered parking which I was able to park in during my entire stay. The elevators are old and take FOREVER! The room really need updating. We had two double beds.... more

I give this hotel a C-. We went to Galveston on July 9th for a three day stay. It was conveniently across from the beach, and next door to a decent Mexican restaurant, and to a Kroger store. Hotel room-it was ok, carpet was old, we had two full beds. One rocked back and forth. Sheets and bed were clean---I... more

For beach goers, the location of this hotel is excellent, but that is only the good thing about the hotel that I could see. The room we were in was small and the bathroom was smaller. The beds were awful and seemed to be either really worn out or broken. There was only a pitifully low thread count sheet on... more

Believe me the website pictures made it look really good. The rooms & bed were way to small for 4 people. The beds were a little bigger than a twin. All hotels I've ever stayed in make your bed everyday this one did not. The back of the commode was not cleaned when we got there and never was the... more
