Okay, it's not The Ritz, but for the price, it's an excellent choice. Admittedly too long a walk from town, but if you want a cheap and cheerful place to stop for a day or two, this is the place.

The location is quite good, close to the I45 artery and right on the seafront, which is nice except when it blows a gale. Just brought my nephews down and stayed at this hotel, staff was wonderful and friendly, room was clean. Kids had a blast, they loved the pool! Perfect location at just the right price. Microwave came in very handy. Breakfast was OK.
