The hotel is set about 10 minutes outside Galveston and from the outside it looks like a decent hotel, and from first appearances, I thought it looked a comfortable hotel for my four night stay, however to be brutally honest it was awful. After arriving late the night before, I was looking forward to my morning breakfast. The dining room... more

Thank you for your feedback referencing your recent visit to Moody Gardens. I was very disappointed to hear of the numerous service lapses and, on behalf of the entire staff here at Moody Gardens, please accept my most sincere apologies. Based on your feedback, we certainly fell short with your visit. There was no valid excuse for the lack of...

It was nice, clean hotel, staff was waiting to help you with your luggage. WE have 4 children (10,7,5,1) when checking in all the children got a cute cloth bag with toys. In the room there was a nice size bathroom and a small area with a coffee pot and there is also a small fridge and a nice size... more

I actually really liked this hotel. They have good rooms, good food, and it's close to some major attractions. I don't know how it fared aganist Hurricane Ike, but if it is still running, it's definintly worth staying at. more

The hotel management charged me for double occupancy instead of a single because they said I had an guest. I contacted the management and advised that I was the only occupant in my room and this manager called me a liar. This hotel charged my credit card double occupancy. While at the hotel for a business conference several people advised... more

Stayed at the property for a 5-day meeting. Impressive entrance and lobby; however, the rooms need attention (echoed by several others in attendance). In my room, there were several issues to include the shower rod falling down, the shower head was very rusted, the vent was full of lint/dust and there were scuff marks on the walls in several areas.... more

Finding the driveway to the front entrance of this hotel was a chore. We arrived about 10:30 p.m. and the directions didn't match up to the different sections of the property. The check-in was quick and professional. The room was bright, clean and spacious. The furniture was in excellent condition, but it was bland, dated, yet functional. The Bloom restaurant... more

This was our best hotel stay in several years. I notice varying reviews of the property. We stayed in the north tower. Maybe those who were less pleased were in the main tower. Our room was bigger than many in other hotels, even those with higher prices. It had all the amenities including a refrigerator. The room was quiet, plush,... more

I was staying there for 6 nights for a conference. It was a very nice hotel with excellent customer service. I'm pretty sure we got a discount on our room also. It was a very nice room with great view of the pyramids and pool. I was never in need an extra towel and things were very clean. My only... more

My husband and I stayed here three weekday nights in April 2007 while he was attending a conference. We had a room on the eighth floor overlooking Schlitterbahn, which was closed weekdays at the time. There was definitely a feeling of "off season," which didn't bother us at all. Checking in was quick and easy. We had other occasions to... more

Stayed here while at a conference. Nice, with some oddities. My room was very nice, eighth floor with a view, very comfortable. Furniture was nice, new, but slightly weird '70s style. Some of my compatriots had less nice rooms: some crumby views, some nonsmoking rooms that an a$!9)#@ smoker smoked in, some dingy decor, that sort of thing. Nothing terrible,... more
