We loved the Galvez! We had a very comfortable room with a wonderful gulf view. We had a great time at the pool (one of the nicest I've been to) and the spa. This hotel was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Not only did it look clean, it smelled clean. There were always staff polishing the brass fixtures and mirrors. When I saw that Hotel Galvez was a AAA four diamond hotel I was expecting a lot. They really did live up to my expectations. What a wonderful experience. Hotel Galvez is right across the street from the beach, a wonderful view. Everything is right around the Hotel, shopping, restaurants. Well I can say I don't exactly agree with everyone else's reviews. First of all our room was terribly small with no mini frig. It would have been nice to have some refrigerated water close by.
