Pictures are true! Cozy and right on the water. Our Cabin had a screen porch so we turned off the air and opened the windows at night. Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of birds, gets you in a sane mood for the day. Cabin is fully equipped with a kitchen, so cook as little or or... More

I went with a special someone to Rockport. I stumbled upon the Fulton Beach Bungalows in a Texas travel guide. It was the best random find ever! The bungalows are so cute for the price that you pay. Clean, cute, quiet, close to the water. If we ever go back to Rockport, we will definitely stay there!

The bungalows are period furnished, creatively and functionally. I always use the well furnished kitchens for either fresh caught or locally purchased fish and shrimp. A big HEB grocery is a mile south on SH35. This was a fishing trip from December 26 to January 3rh and the low temps ran the fish totally away to warmer deeper waters. One... More

We enjoyed an excellent 5-night stay in bungalow 10. Built in the late 1940's, the bungalows have been renovated to be comfortable with all necessary conveniences, but also with an eye toward retaining a nostalgic feeling. The kitchen was well equipped and everything functioned properly. The bathroom was good, with a very nice shower (often a shortcoming in this type... More

My husband and I just returned from a one night stay at Fulton Beach Bungalows. We stayed in #8, and it was fantastic. The bungalow was spotless and well-stocked. We would have loved to stay longer! A few cons: 1) While there is a large sign at the corner of Prairie and Fulton Beach Road, the bungalows themselves are not... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Bungalows for the weekend. Juli is a great host, we had an outing planned for 4 pm and would be pushing to get checked in at three before we went. I contacted her and she was very helpful in letting us stop and unload our car before our outing. The bungalow is... More

We stayed in bungalow 8 (Dragonflies & Butterflies) for 4 nights and would wholeheartedly recommend Fulton Beach Bungalows. The accommodation provides the perfect combination of a "step back in time" with modern comforts. Everything you could need for your stay is provided. Nothing was too much trouble for Juli & Gene, who were a pleasure to deal with. The bungalows... More

This was a great stop on a road trip along the gulf coast. It's a relaxing peaceful spot. It seemed a little strange to never meet in person anyone that worked there. We mailed a check for a 50% deposit, then left a check on the table for the other half before we left. We were emailed the instructions on... More

We loved our quiet mini-vacation in bungalow #7. It was tiny, but beautiful with a full kitchen, reading area, screened in front porch and back deck. Shady old Live Oaks throughout. Property has private access to bay across the street. Rescue cats live in trees on property. Warning: no cell or land line service or Internet. Can text. Double bed a... More

We love coming to Rockport-Fulton and staying at the Fulton Beach Bungalows. Clean, well stocked self-catering bungalows, friendly hosts. The owners, Julie and Gene have done a remarkable job restoring a 1940's travel motel to create a unique experience. Screened porches on most bungalows let you enjoy the outdoors without mosquitos. You can grill out or cook in...or dine out... More
