We have stayed in the Schandua Suite twice now; once for our first anniversary and more recently for our fifth anniversary.

There are quite a few B-n-B options in Fredericksburg, but we would not consider staying anywhere else. The Schandua Suite has it all.

The not-your-typical-B-n-B accomodations make this place very special. It is decorated with taste and sophistication and there is so much room to get comfortable. It is perfectly situated on Main Street, in the heart of the action, and yet somehow a perfectly quiet place to get away from the hustle-bustle.

The bedroom is goregous with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The bathroom is large and accommodating, as is the enormous walk-in closet.

The library makes you feel right at home with personal effects and heirlooms from the owners. You'll never be at a loss for good reading, either, as there are hundreds of books to choose from.
