What a gem! My husband and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary in Fredericksburg. As we rode into Barons CreekSide, we were pleasantly surprised that the cabin we chose was well hidden among the trees and creek from the other cabins. What a pleasure it was waking up each morning to the sounds of the birds and creek. The cabin was... More

Friends in Austin recommended this place and we were glad they did. The cabins are quaint, charming, relaxing and quiet. We stayed in the Zermatt cabin along the creek. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch in rocking chairs taking in the sounds of the water, looking up at the beautiful evening sky filled with stars, the sunrise and lots... More

My sis was visiting from Seattle so I decided to make reservations for a couple of nights in Fredericksburg. These cabins were recommended by several friends so we decided to try them out. We stayed in the Mesquite Farmhouse as my mom was suppose to join us, however she got sick and couldn't make the trip. We had a blast!... More

We were riding a motor bike from the east to west coasts and ended up by chance in Fredericksburg (after an abysmal stay in San Antonio). By this stage we had been on the road for a week and needed a break, so we decided to treat ourselves to two nights in one of Daniel's delightful swiss cottages at Baron's... More

We stayed three nights in the wasserfall cabin and had a wonderful stay. The charming cabins, village setting, the sound of the waterfall out our window, jetted tub, & beautiful stone fireplace, combined with the rustic charming decor made for a comfortable and romantic weekend. I would highly recommend it!

If you are looking for luxury and room service, keep looking. If you want atmosphere, good location, and something different than a motel or even a B&B, this is the place. Great cabins with windows, doors even some of the wood brought over from Switzerland by the owner to create the atmosphere of a Swiss Village inside and out. He... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We wished we could have stayed longer, but we are self-employed and can't stay away much more than a night or two. Our cabin was the Lucerne and it was awesome. It was rustic yet very comfortable. We have been to a few other cabins/BB in the area, but I enjoyed... More

My wife and i celebrated our 6 year anniversary. We were looking for something close to home (we live in Houston, TX) but at the same time get away from it all. We could not have chose a better place. We stayed in the Interlaken, Swiss cabin. Good size, rustic with a modern twist. The landscape was perfect. So serene... More

We rented the Rhine Fall cabin for four days beginning Christmas Day and found the entire place to be completely charming and well worth the expense. It did cost more than what we normally pay, but to walk into such a beautiful Swiss Log Cabin, sit in front of a warm fire and read books about how the place came... More
