3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I'm not sure it's really worth a 3 rating, but I have to counteract all of the 5 bubble ratings with a reality check. It's nice, but not that nice! Our window was old and warped and wouldn't shut all the way. It's so close to Main Street that it was a really loud night for us. It was the... More

This was one of the best stays I have experienced. The personnel, service, facility and location was excellent. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone. The location was perfect, did not have to use car to visit the sites and places to eat. I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.

Certainly the hotel is central to this touristy Texas Hill country town, but I felt that the amenities were a little dated and worn to justify the fairly high rates. It is difficult to get rooms at peak times so I imagine that the demand drives the pricing. The staff was very friendly and helpful but there was nothing special... More

The Presidential Suite served as a great meeting place for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a half bath in addition to the full baths in each of the two bedrooms. The staff was very helpful. Great location, as well.

I was very impressed with the service I had received at the front desk. The two young lady's were very polite and made my friends and I come back to this hotel. The room was very nice and what we had asked for. I truly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice get a way.

We stayed at the Inn on Barons Creek for a week with a bicycling group. Our room was on the third floor. It was large, quiet, and clean. We especially appreciated the somewhat separate sitting room, which we easily transformed into space for our bikes and biking stuff. As a group, we enjoyed having access to a large, private conference... More

This is a very nice hotel. As the name applies, it is situated on Barons Creek, with a walking path and chairs by the creek. The lobby is welcoming with Texas flair. The bar area is inviting too. The average room is average size, but was clean and comfortable. The Inn is within walking distance of the main street in... More

We came for the weekend to celebrate our 28th anniversary. We stayed in a handicap king room on the first floor. Didn't need the handicap, but that was the only king left when we booked. The room was nice, the staff friendly and overall a nice facility. However, you might want to look into getting a new mattress for that... More

The hotel is clean and well maintained. One interesting feature is there are sliding pocket doors that can be closed to provide privacy between the small living room and the sleeping area. We opted for a room on the back side of the hotel with a limited view of the creek and trees rather than a view of the front... More

This is the worst hotel experience we have ever had. My husband and I were in a Creekside King Suite which are the most expensive units. Upon check in the toilet was broken and running loudly at full tilt and the phone was not working. Staff responded promptly and issues supposedly fixed. Toilet broke again at 11:00 that night and... Thank you for taking the time to post a review about your stay with us while you visited Fredericksburg. The Creekside units used to be a Bed and Breakfast that the owner decided to keep when he built the hotel. If you are not a Bed & Breakfast person these will probably not be the perfect choice for you. I apologize... More
