We stopped in this morning on our way home not even expecting them to be open on Sunday. My husband and I haven't visited this location for years. They've expanded, remodeled, and added the cutest cottages! We stopped with the intention of buying a few herb plants and looked into the gift shop first. There are so many delightful gifts,... Blocks off of Main Street, this place is hidden back in the neighborhoods. A very nice restaurant, we were probably underdressed for dinner, but nobody cared. We split a wonderful chicken, spinach, and artichoke pizza. The calamari with a white dipping sauce was perfect. Calamari can be so rubbery, but this was crispy perfection. Will definitely go back. The grounds... More

This time at the Herb Farm, my friends and I were visiting the city for a car event at Lady Bird State Park. Unfortunately, I was feeling ill and stayed in. I called the Bistro and asked for some tea, as I felt dehydrated. The wonderful woman who had just checked us in a few minutes earlier quickly delivered a... More

The Herb Farm property is very quaint, cozy and peaceful. Our cottage was very clean, had a comfortable king size bed, and a nice bathroom with a pebble stone shower. They also provided fluffy robes, a coffee maker, wine glasses and a mini fridge with a bottle water for each of us. The thing I loved most about my stay... More

What a great place this one the cottages are wonderful very well built and decorated the bathroom and amenities were great. Restaurant is pretty good, food is great don't miss their wood oven pizzas. The store holds many local products as fragances, creams and candles. The place has also a nice spa which we could not try since they are... More

My wife and I have been to the Hill Country on several occasions and have stayed at several B and B's in the area. We chose the Herb Farm from a previous visit to the Herb Farm garden at which time we decided to stay at the B and B on our next visit. We stayed in cabin 10 which... More

Stayed in a cottage for 2 nights and found the experience to be lackluster at best. The owners of the property could offer a great experience, but instead it seems they have a collection of ideas and no real interest in the guest experience. To start, you check-in at the restaurant, which held up several groups behind me that wanted... More

The idea of this place, the setting and the cute factor are all high. But there are little things that bring it down a few notches. First, lighting in the room and bathroom. Overall, it's just very dark, especially in the bathroom. Second, the rules. There are many rules for staying there, and they're all printed on a very visible... More

This property has a very good concept and the grounds were lovely as was the interior of the restuarant and spa. The spa staff was very welcoming and professional, however, the Cottage/Hotel/Gift Shop staff were at times rude, unaccomodating and we felt more like we were interrupting and intruding on them than as guests. The cottages could have been cleaner... More

As our first time in town we were guided here by a friendly local (and all the locals are friendly).. The location is exquisite and the food was delicious! We had the brisket sandwich lunch special which melted in our mouth. Yum!! Will be back.
