This was our first time here. We did not have any issues with reservations. They called us the day of to make sure we were still coming and told us where they were leaving the key. We arrived here just in time for dinner. The food at the bistro was delicious and it came out fast! The cottages are close... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Herb Farm for my birthday. It was a wonderful experience! The cottages are very comfortable and perfect for a weekend retreat. Breakfast and Sunday brunch were included in the nightly rate and they were absolutely amazing! I recommend the farm haus omelet and the chicken salad croissant. There is an adorable gift... More

My husband and I stayed in one of the cottages and absolutely loved the chic and clean accommodations!!!!! The grounds were beautiful (even during the drought!)!!! Judy in the gift shop was delightful and shared information while making candles on-site to sell. The chef totally raised the bar and we LOVED everything we ate!!!!!!!!! (We eat out regularly in nice... More

I stayed at the Herb Farm for a week based on TripAdvisor reviews and website pictures. It was even better than I had hoped. The privacy of the large cottage rooms is great. All amenities included: In room coffee, robes, free internet, etc. The best are the swing and rocking chairs on each cottage front porch. We sat there every... More

From the first moment we were on the property you realized you were taking a break from the world and relaxation set in immediately. The cottages are welcoming. The front porches on each one were beckoning for you to sit a spell and relax. Inside the cottage is a beautiful bedroom and exquisite bathroom. Breakfast was a splendid meal in... More

We just spent two nights at the Herb Farm. This is one of two places I could return to again and again. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, yet friendly. The resident cats are even on their best behavior! We will definitely return. Breakfast was delicious.

The first thing to know about the Fredericksburg Herb Farm is what it's not. It's not a full-service hotel with concierge service. This is much more like a bed and breakfast. You come and go as you please, and there's a place for you to stay, but don't expect to be waited on hand and foot because it won't happen.... More

Just like the previous reviews this is a wonderful hideaway. The cottages are precious and modern and clean. Enjoyed the mini frig with bottled water and juice. The bath products smelled wonderful however, we were surprised there was not a bar of soap to be found during our two night stay. The a/c is a window unit and may seem... More

We met friends here for the 4th of July weekend. We have stayed at The Hanger and loved it. The same folks who own The Hanger also own this hotel. The rooms are small cottages with all the modern amenities. The hotel is spotless. All cottages have a porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing. Perfect for wine in... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Herb Farm for 2 nights from Saturday - Monday the weekend of July 12th. The experience was wonderful! The BB is quiet, intimate, quaint but with modern amenities. The BB was remodeled three years ago. I love the individual cottages (we stayed in #7). It felt rustic on the outside with porch swing... More
