After having a bad experience at at hotel 8 in Tucson AZ was reluctant to stay here. Total opposite experience at this hotel 8. They will get a recommendation of where to stay when people ask about accommodations in Fredericksburg. Great customer service, clean room, nothing fancy and resonable price.

The service from the hotel staff is fantastic, the personnel is kind and some speak spanish that seems and advantage on this areas, the room was very good on size and clean, i like that is almost outside town so there is not a lot of noise. I sleep fantastic.

The carpet was so dirty that before we realized it, our feet were black, and I mean black. The pillows were so small it was hard to find them on the king bed. The towels were very thin, but were better than the ONE washcloth we got that you could put your finger through. Sheets, and washcloth were stained. The... More

The hotel is showing it's age slightly, but the room was large enough and clean. The continental breakfast was slightly better than average for this level hotel. The front desk was cordial and helpful. The only negative, in my opinion, was the pool. I thought it a little small, but since I hadn't visited a pool on the whole trip,... More

The hubby and I opted to stay here for one night on a busy weekend in the Hill Country, mainly for the affordability factor. The hotel sits just outside of the main town and as a result, parking was actually pretty easy. The hotel reminds me of an old Hampton Inn. The staff seemed very nice, although the check in... More

We were passing through Fredericksburg and decided to visit all the wonderful shops. This hotel looked nice on the outside, and actually looks nice on the inside. The price was very affordable. I booked the room from a website, so I was unaware of how far this is from the actually city center compared to the other hotels in town.... More

Worst place we have stayed at in all our trips to Fredericksburg. We are here 2 or 3 times a year. We brought guests with us from out of state and were so embarrassed. The pillows were very small and when we asked for extra pillows we were told none were available because of all the families with kids. So... More

We stayed at this hotel when we were there from the recent Crawfish Festival. The main thing that drew us to this place, was that they allowed us to make reservations for a one night stay only during a busy festival weekend, whereas all other hotels that we checked into had a 2 night minimum stay. Since we were only... More

Went to Fredericksburg as part of a wedding anniversary trip. Had a good review from our son who had been there last December for Christmas in Fredericksburg. Rooms were above. Average but a little dated. Staff were great and friendly. Hot breakfast has changed in last 6 months to appeal to youth on quick trips, but not to traveling adults... More

This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at in my life. There were bugs in the room. Management's response, "This is hill country. It is to be expected." So basically, deal with it. They supposedly had someone come and clean out the air conditioner. This did not help. Every time I went downstairs someone was complaining about... More
