The hubby and I opted to stay here for one night on a busy weekend in the Hill Country, mainly for the affordability factor. The hotel sits just outside of the main town and as a result, parking was actually pretty easy. The hotel reminds me of an old Hampton Inn. The staff seemed very nice, although the check in... More

We were passing through Fredericksburg and decided to visit all the wonderful shops. This hotel looked nice on the outside, and actually looks nice on the inside. The price was very affordable. I booked the room from a website, so I was unaware of how far this is from the actually city center compared to the other hotels in town.... More

Worst place we have stayed at in all our trips to Fredericksburg. We are here 2 or 3 times a year. We brought guests with us from out of state and were so embarrassed. The pillows were very small and when we asked for extra pillows we were told none were available because of all the families with kids. So... More

We stayed at this hotel when we were there from the recent Crawfish Festival. The main thing that drew us to this place, was that they allowed us to make reservations for a one night stay only during a busy festival weekend, whereas all other hotels that we checked into had a 2 night minimum stay. Since we were only... More

Went to Fredericksburg as part of a wedding anniversary trip. Had a good review from our son who had been there last December for Christmas in Fredericksburg. Rooms were above. Average but a little dated. Staff were great and friendly. Hot breakfast has changed in last 6 months to appeal to youth on quick trips, but not to traveling adults... More

This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at in my life. There were bugs in the room. Management's response, "This is hill country. It is to be expected." So basically, deal with it. They supposedly had someone come and clean out the air conditioner. This did not help. Every time I went downstairs someone was complaining about... More

It's hard to compare reviews. We may have had a different room from another reviewer, our expectations were possibly different, and we may have paid different prices. This was our experience. The price was reasonable---many places in town were double the price. The room was comfortable. I liked the puffy comforter on the bed. We had a good-size refrigerator. The... More

I arrived to find no ice in the hotel. No phone at all. It had been removed because it didn't work. Not even a clock. My handicapped son asked for another pillow and he was told they don't have any extras. I will NEVER stay at this old run down dump again. Did I mention the toilet is so loose... More

My family really enjoyed this hotel. It isn't fancy so don't go there expecting anything fancy. It is an older hotel, but what do you expect for the great price. I paid half of what some of the other hotels were charging and they really didn't seem any better on the outside then this place. I do have to mention... More

This hotel needs your money for urgent repairs and improvements. Trash and weeds greet you at the entrance. The hallways need vacuuming. The carpets and curtains throughout are very dated and old, dark and shabby. In our room the wallpaper was stapled up, the carpets were stained, the towels were grungy and abrasive. At breakfast the coffee was cold and... More
