We stayed two nights in this lovely campground while visiting Fredericksburg, TX. What a beautiful campground! It is more like a park that a campground. The campground is full of large mature oak trees. The surrounding area is rural (a vineyard was on one side and a farm on the other). The staff was very professional. The pull through sites... More

I have camped at this KOA several times before and it was always one of my favorites. Management has always been very friendly (still is) and helpful. I was disappointed this trip by many fire ant mounds, very large, obviously untreated. Mosquitoes were really bad as well, with no apparent attempt to control.(I have been in KOAs that fogged regularly)... More

I read all the reviews before arriving and was expecting the worst. Check in was typical and uneventful. Pleasant staff, nothing draconian...just normal check in. You are apprised of the park's 5 mph rule but we liked it. We've been in other parks that seem like a speedway and it is annoying and unsafe. We checked two other rv parks... More

Most unfriendly camp grounds I've ever been to. During check in with were threatened with death if we went even one mile over the speed limit. Literally the guy said, "If you go even one mile over the sped limit she'll shoot you" (pointing at a lady in the room) I though wow welcome to the campgrounds. We stayed in... More

Great location to Fredericksburg. It's nice there is a mini mart across the street if you need to grab something small. The longhorns are pretty cool for the kids to see as were the lightning bugs in the woodsy area. Tall trees so it is somewhat shady. The pool and bathrooms aren't fancy, but nice enough and clean. There was... More

We wanted to spend 5 days in Fredericksburg touring the wine country, Fredericksburg and Luckenbach and wanted to bring our living quarters with us for convenience...The KOA campgrounds on 1376 and 290 were perfect for our needs. The management was friendly and helpful. We had our own rooftop satellite so did not need their wired cable. The trees were blocking... More

I've read the negative comments, but I personally don't agree. We had two dogs and no children. This was our second time to stay here. We cut our trip short last Thanksgiving due to icy weather conditions. They gave us credit for the unused days good for a year. The campground seems to be more crowded during the winter than... The camp itself is fairly standard for KOA. The price wasn't crazy for being a tourist area. The thing that weirded me out was not necessarily the rules, but the way they're worded and noted upon check in. Right off the bat, there's a real 'welcoming' sign that says 'If you can't go 5mph turn around now'. Inside, upon registration... More

We have stayed at several KOAs in the past and this one disappointed me. The WiFi did not work with Apple products such as iphone, The smell of septic gas was in the air and sometimes was very strong. I asked for a long pull through site for my RV and tow vehicle but we were put into a very... More

We stayed here in our RV for spring break. Upon arrival 3 pages of policies were slapped in front of me. The most emphasis was placed on kids in the RV park. The paper said " our residents are not interested in the presence of your children". I was told that my children were expected to be well mannered and... More
