Me and my wife decided to take a vacation with-out our 9 year old daughter we first went to Galveston for 4 days then drove here, hands down we should've stayed here all week we even added an extra night. The peaceful serenity is so awesome to actually see the stars on your front porch at night. Yes we got... More

While trying to throw together last minute weekend escape to Fredericksburg for my fiance's 50th birthday, I couldn't find a b&b vacancy that wasn't ridiculously expensive - stumbled onto this alternative lodging option that sounded really cool - it sounded & looked great online so we reserved the lLittle White House for a midJune weekend - we were so charmed... We were really happy with the location of this place. It seems to be in the middle of nowhere but at the same time only 6 miles from town. Our main goal was to get away from any stresses and this place definitely accomplishes that. tFrom just sitting on the porch to getting up early and waiting for the sun... More

Thank you for a lovely review! The Retreat cabin is one of our most requested cabins, and we have carefully planned each cabin... Maybe next time you should try the Little White House, one of our newest, with a jacuzzi tub and rain shower.... Though the showers are not two person in the Retreat and the other three original cabins,... More

our family had a great stay at the ranch. my boys (9&11) loved the cowboy hottub, the tractor, the wide open spaces! becky & joe were so friendly and gave great tips on some local 'must-sees'. we had the place to ourselves and only wish we could have stayed longer. next time!

This was a perfect stop on our road trip. Our cabin was very charming with beautiful surroundings. We ordered the cowboy dinner and it is recommended. When we went to Texas, we wanted to see Texas longhorn cattle. Becky showed us their livestock. We are grateful for that. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Mid-way through our 2 week road-trip in Texas my girlfriend and I descended upon Tonkawaya Ranch, with the intention of staying for 2 nights . Having read the gushing reviews, we were excited to arrive and had high expectations.... however.... these expectations were hugely exceeded. We quickly came to the decision to lobby Joe and Becky for 2 additional nights,... More

My fiancé and I spent a week on the Ranch. There was not one bad thing about it! From the moment we arrived until the morning we left was awesome. We stayed in the Cowboy cabin, which is very nice. Everything you need, if you want to cook inside, or you can grill outside. Or go into town, 10 minute drive,... More

We had a free night this week and jumped at the chance to stay here. We were not disappointed! This will be our base of operations for future trips to the area. Comfortable accommodations and beautiful surroundings. Wish I could have just one more delicious biscuit!

We stayed here on the recommendation of a friend and we found it to be well worth it. The location is remote in that you will be able to enjoy bright stars at night and no city noise but still very within reach of Fredericksburg. Breakfast is brought to your your doorstep by one of the owners which was always... More
