Settler's Crossing embodies the quant relaxation of Hill country living. The houses are so inviting that it's hard not to feel like you have always lived there. Sitting in the swing on the front porch watching the fireflies made us feel as if we had turned back time. If you are looking to get away and relax this is the... more

Settlers crossing offers privacy and a one-of-a-kind feel of the Hill Country life style. My husband and I stayed in the Von Heinrich and it was a home away from home. Town is just a mere 5 minutes away but you are far enough out to feel like you are truly in the country! The best part of this place... more

I absolutely loved my weekend at Settler's Crossing. The customer service could not have been better and my room/cottage was wonderfully charming. It was everything I could have wanted of a Bed & Breakfast. The scenery was great, as well. Waking up in the morning to deer and sheep roaming the property was a delight. I will most definitely return... more

We had such a wonderful time at Settler's Crossing. Such a beautiful spot, with such quaint little rooms, so charming. I felt so at home, but home away from home. I will definitely return and recommend to others. more

Awesome place! Closest bed and breakfast to Luckenbach! Felt like it was "our place" for the entire weekend. Good for a small group, which we had but definitely want to get a bigger group sometime and turn it into our own little vilage for the weekend! Guys had fun hanging out watching the axis deer in the yard and the... more

My girl friends and I stayed in the Pioneer house and had a wonderful weekend. The place was very comfortable and the grounds were georgous. The animals were plentiful and fun to watch. The vineyards are just down the street and easy to get back and forth from. Great location, very quite with a peacful charm. Owners are hands off... more

We only stay at B&Bs and have found a lot of unusual ones around the globe. We stayed in the Kusenberger barn. If you want a very rustic, romantic, cozy place this is a nice choice. it was raining very hard and it made for a romantic first night. There is a simple kitched if you need it. And they... more

My boyfriend and I went to Fredericksburg for a weekend get-away, and loved every second. We stayed at Settler's Crossing which is about 5 miles out of town. It is on 35 acres and has 7 different cabins. The one we stayed in was built in the 1800's and was amazing. The cozy bed and breakfast had a ton of... more

Pretty much everything positve that was posted previously. Yes, our stay was expensive 195.00, a night but we had privacy, our dogs (we took crates) , no worries and a lovely home, with two bedrooms, period furnishings and CHARM! If you want new and shiny....stay at the Hampton or whatever other chain there is in town....and save this place for... more

I was heading to Fredericksburg for a quick weekend with my mom and neither of us had any idea where to stay, this was a blind pick. And we really lucked out. The property is just a perfect picture of Texas Hill Country and they have the cutest animals roaming around...sheep, a burro, a pony, and even deer! There is... more
