This 50's style motel in the heart of downtown was comfortable enough to rent for a few nights but I would not buy it. The room was okay but lacked a few amenities, like a drain plug in the sink. I liked the Mambo club and a couple of great bands were there when I stayed. If you are fussy,... More

Do not let false advertising lead you astray. The location of this place is the only virtue, and after that, well. I don't see how they stay in the travel business. My room has not been touched in 5 days. Wifi in the rooms is a lie. Things are old, scratched, and broken. There are no stoppers in the sinks... More

Besides the location which is really great, Everything else is awful. Dirty carpets, dirty bathroom, outdated furniture and in bad condition. On purpose we left a death cricket on the bathroom and the next days it stayed there in the same position! Never touched. Reception staff was friendly but they can not do anything if managememt is willing to destroy... More

We picked a bad weekend to spend in Fort Worth. This was the ONLY hotel that had a room due to a big TCU game. First of all, GREAT location. Staff was friendly. Parking was safe and secure. The actual room was way below par. Wallpaper was lifting the shower and sink were dirty. The bed was miserably uncomfortable. It's... More

The location is great. Across from the convention center, close to most everything so restaurants are an easy walk. It goes downhill from there. Parking is easy, as long as you call and find out that on weekends you can ignore the reserved parking signs in the underground parking. The check in was also easy. The lobby smells strongly of... This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. I do not mind old furniture, etc. but my room was dirty -- there was patches of mildew on the bathroom ceiling, the mat inside the bathtub was filthy, dirty lamp shades, need I go on ... I slept on top of the bedspread. To top it off, there... More

The hotel was thankfully located within less than 10 minute walking distance from the train/bus station which was one of the main reasons I chose it. The first impressions was that the hotel looked quite run-down and not too dissimilar to your typical out of town motel. The rooms were also quite run down with the added frustration that the... I had no transport so needed somewhere near to most of the sights and restaurants, plus the train station. Park Central was perfectly located. I paid around $100 a night but it was nowhere near worth that money. I had to go down to reception in able to access the internet. The TV didn't work, and the toilet would only... More
