Memories that will last a lifetime were made at this Hotel. Yes it is one of the older establishments in the Ft wWorth area. IT would be expected to find it well "worn" but in all the times we have stayed there , we found it to be clean and the staff is excellant. more

Got a dirt cheap flight and hotel package for business. Travelocity screwed up the hotel, but the staff at the Green Oaks were just great. Yeah the place is dated, no doubt. While the service is fine, and the people are nice, the property itself is a dump. Rooms are dated and dirty. Lighting is poor, and no lightswitches turn on the lights. I stayed here Mid March for 4 days. Pros: Clean, spread out over a big area, grounds nice, landscaped well and offered refrigerator in room. Cons: Near military base, so LOUD jets fly over low on a regular basis, HUGE garbage dumpster near rooms overflowing (ugh, the smell!) and the only in-hotel restaurant had horrible service. We were in Ft. Worth for a convention. Our group stayed at the Green Oaks Hotel, about 90 rooms for 3 nights. The rooms were clean, the property is quaint and the employees were very hospitable. Would recommend to any group or individual that wants great service at a great price. more

Wow, where to start? This hotel is old and run down. There were stairs that were broken. The rooms are very small and dated. The heater and A/C controls were all or nothing. The TV was very small. The carpets were stained. I would avoid at all costs. more
