Perfect location. The room I was in had all cedar furniture which fit perfectly. I was there to meet old friends and do a little bar hopping. It's right in the middle of it all. Parking in rear. The staff does act like you just ruined their day when u check in. Could be updated. It has a bed and... More

I though I would give the hotel a try as it was cheap and in a good location.. Wish I had paid more and gone to a different hotel. On arrival strong odour in the hotel, given a key to room 7 on entering very dark with a large bed (not much room to move about). The bed linen needed... More

Condom ring on the shower head, headboard not mounted to bed, no light bulbs in the lamps, smelled musty. Desk clerk was difficult to understand - very thick Indian accent. Phone did not work in the room.

Booked this because it looked like a historic picturesque hotel near the downtown Fort Worth area. Walking up to it I it wasn't a good sign, junk all in the windows, filthy, front glass. Walking in, the lobby was kinda clean. The front desk person looked like I was bugging her in the middle of her phone call when she... More

...if you're looking for a great hotel in ft worth go to the new Hyatt down the road for $250 a night.. if you want to be within walking distance to the stockyards for under a $100 you can stay here but don't expect much.. the a/c works, the tv doesn't, the hair dryer doesn't.. there were panties and sex... About once a year we go to Ft Worth Stockyards to have a weekend staycation. The hotel is old and quaint but it is clean. Parking can be at a premium if you get there later in the day. All the bars are within walking distance and stockyards are a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The shower is on... More

We just spent 3 nights @ Hotel Texas. The room was cozy and comfortable. The air conditioner worked. The location was perfect for The Stockyards at probably 1/3 of the price of one of the chain hotels down the street. Yes, the room was small and the bathroom tiny, but it was clean enough and the bed was great. We... More

Was there 2 nights for Willies picnic. Checked in late without issues. Room was better then expected after reading reviews. The lady was nice to us... we had plenty of towels & ice.... I parked for free on the street & never really needed my truck again because everything we did was a short walk to get there and fairly... More

Bedding isn't ironed(wonder if its even been washed), damp, moldy smell in the room and bathroom is about as big as a portable toilet. Great location if you want to be close to all the honky tonks, but wouldn't spoil a good night with a hotel like this.

I have to begin by saying that I was a little worried when I found out we were staying here. I read the reviews and figured this place has got to suck. If you want glass and chrome, don't stay here. If you want to be able to do your workout in your room, don't stay here. If you want... More
