All staff was extremely rude. Was told (as i see is a common issue) that the credit card machine broken-paid cash. The Hotel Texas advised Booking.com that we cancelled our reservation. I'm watching my account to make sure I don't get charged again. When I called HT to question this, the woman was horrible to deal with, told me she... More

Although this hotel came recommended in the travelling bible, the Rough Guide, it was the first time we had been let down by a recommendation. Having travelled extensively in the US this is absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed in. Greeted by a scruffy woman at reception we were told we had to pay cash because a storm... More

The receptionist had to be called to the desk on arrival. I paid cash given a room key. No coffee, no water, nor paper cups, no toilet paper and only one sheet on the bed exposing a mattress cover that had seen better years and it was grubby. Should have been thrown away. It had a very old TV that... More

I read the poor reviews but I was prepared to give it a go because of the price. It was $120 for a night compared to the $240 at other locations. We were greater by a very angry and unkind woman who had no interest in helping us. She barked that there were no double rooms available in a manner... More

this was the only room we could get in the fort worth area of all the hotels we tried about 10 because of a big nascar event and a big name country stars last concert so everywhere was full we tried the hotel across from the stockyards think it was a holiday inn they had 1 room left for $400... This place is excellent for convenience. Do not stay here if you are looking for lavish amenities. The hotel is within walking distance of everything in the the stockyards. If you are just looking for a convenient place to crash in between activities, then this will be right up your ally.

I read the reviews but thought I'd drive the 52 miles one way to check it out in person. So not worth the drive! Walked in at 12.30, a lady is behind desk with her bare feet on desk talking on her cell phone in her native language. She puts her feet down, crosses one over her knee and starts... More

The location is really the best point of this motel and the price is ok. I recommend no more than a night if you have a tight budget. The decoration of the room was nice, but bathroom is extremely small and the room was not clean enough.

The location is great. But that is it. Don’t plan on sleeping, not getting harassed but drunk people at 1:30am, or having competent owners. We couldn’t make it through the night and then were yelled at when we asked for a partial refund, I was told I should have looked at the reviews. My response was you wanted me to... More

Right up till the last minute I was going to give them average, but I just can't do it. The location was walking distance to where I wanted to be and it was cheap. Unfortunately I didn't check tripadvisor first. The room could have been nicer, but that doesn't really bother me. The blinds were disgustingly dirty but I had... More
