We lived in Arlington, Texas back in the 80s and worked in downtown Fort Worth, so we never stayed in the famous Stockyards Hotel in the Fort Worth Stockyards. We’d pop into the lobby, maybe get a beer in Booger Red’s with the saddle bar stools. But we had no reason to stay there. Now we live in Huntsville, Texas.... More

What a great find! After loosing our room in the "overbooked" Hilton downtown, we found the Stockyards Hotel and had our romantic getaway! Big king sized bed, clean spacious rooms, lovely! The H3 restaurant is very convenient downstairs, valet parking is also great! Enjoy a nice walk around the historic stockyards and take in a little cowboy culture!

Great hotel in the historic stockyards of Fort Worth. Room was a good size with a street view d because this is an old hotel without double glazing there is some noise from traffic on the cobbled streets but not intrusive. The room was comfortable and the location good for visiting Dallas and Fort Worth. The staff were very friendly... More

This hotel was a really nice hotel that was in a great location. We loved our room and the restaurant located in the hotel. Service was great too! The only complaint I have was the room we rented had an outdoor hot tub, which was really cool, but way too many bugs that we just could not avoid. So, we... More

I really enjoyed staying at the Stockyards Hotel. The Hotel is one of a kind jewel and the staff is so accommodating. The Hotel Lobby is very nicely furnished and a really neat place. I would love to stay again!!

A neat, western themed hotel in the middle of the stockyards. Our room was a bit on the smaller side c/w others we stayed at while traveling through Texas. Decor was cool w/ a country theme fitting into the area. There was a keurig in the room as well as your basic toiletries. For whatever reason we could not watch... More

This was our second staying at the Stockyards Hotel. The hotel is a beautiful restoration of how it might have been to stay a 100 years ago, even with actual room keys (which I would say is the only thing that I would upgrade in the hotel). The room was decorated with turn of the century feel and decor, beds... More

Room by the road, noisy as all get out. Laying here right now with both the rumble of cars, motorcycles, wails of sirens and its already 9 pm. Might as well be trying to sleep under a bridge. Hey, hotel- invest in some sound insulating windows for Pete's sake. took up a complaint with front desk and problem solved lickity... More

Sorry for the noise out front. We are looking into new or adding windows. We should have this done soon. Thanks for the comment. More

We were only in town one night so we choose the Stockyard Hotel. We are glad we did. It was nothing fancy but had everything we needed. Be warned that it is, just like in the old days, right over a bar and restaurant. There was a neon sign right outside our corner room but the room had wooden shutters.... More

We stayed in a western room at the front of the hotel for 2 nights. Room was large with huge king size bed, smallish ensuite and good amenities including coffee-maker. (No tea, though.) Liked the cowhide bedhead, the rustic-style lamps and timber shutters but found the decorated cow skull a bit disturbing. Unfortunately only discovered an order card for continental... More
