We stayed several days due to family illness in Ft. Stockton. I grew up in Ft. Stockton and love the sweet little town. I could write forever about the very unprofessional treatment by the staff at the front desk. The message machine on our room phone would not let you get the messages. We reported the problem twice and the... more

Just checked in after driving 9 hours from Houston. Rug is stained and dirty and the 2 queen beds are lumpy. This place is a dump. We have stayed at other Hampton Inns and they were quite nice. No dollars are being spent on upkeep or maintenance. Too tired to see if the Days Inn or the other nearby hotels... more

My husband and I were just passing through and stopped to get info on restaurants in Ft. Stockton. EDNA, a precious young woman at the check-in desk, was extremely helpful and courteous, especially since we were not staying there. The hotel was very pleasant and clean. Definitely will stay there if the need arose for me to stay in Ft.... more

I know Fort Stockton is somewhat isolated, but I still think the price for the room was too much: $125 (that's WITH a AAA discount) for a Sunday night, which ended up as $141 total after the taxes. However, it was very clean and the bedding and towels were fresh and seemed new. more

I have stayed here a few times, and have always found it satisfactory. Rooms are nice, and there are many choices in the breakfast buffet. Staff, morning and evening, was friendly and helpful. more

After reading the reviews I was concerned but found the staff to be OK, although not as outgoing and affable as other Hamton Inn's.That could be their "small town" insulation and insecurity. Desk clerks were helpful and courteous. No problems. Our room was OK but if you're noise sensitive as I am, this Hampton Inn doesn't seem as well insulated... more

The indian people that work at this hotel are the rudest i have ever experienced. They are not friendly or hospitable. I cannot believe the way in which i was disrespected by the general manager. Hampton Inn is known for their great hospitality and customer service, unfortunately you will not get either of them from this staff. Other than that... more

Despite what a previous reviewer called "a nasty little town", Ft. Stockton is pretty average. Lots of new hotels as it's experiencing an oil boom, with old wells flowing due to new technology. This hotel is clean, comfy, with an OK workout room, extensive breakfast, caring front desk staff. Don't expect to order dinner in, even though the front desk... more

Finding a hotel in Fort Stockton is always a challenge. (Not a lot of nearby towns!). This is a good basic hotel, but on the expensive side for Fort Stockton. Staff person working breakfast was rude, which took away from what was otherwise a good experience. more
