If you need a place to stay for just one night in this area that would not kill your budget, this is the place. All other places in the area are over $100. Room was ok and bed comfortable. Can be noisy at times with traffic and customers. The person I was with had electrical issues with his room on... More

the room updating's are great! Don't let the cleaning slide. The woods floors were dirty and should be mopping each day, they are small. If mold starts in the bathroom, jump on it right away.. I will stay at Motel 6 when I can if they have the updated rooms..BUT...I will call ahead and make sure it is clean, floors... More

We recently stayed two night at this Motel 6. Upon entering the room, it seemed clean, but the next day waking up, we had a feeling that something had been crawling around. Ignoring the fact, moved on. My better half is now covered in bed bugs. Notify the office, with not a care in the world for their guests, just... More

We had to alter our original travel plans due to icy roads, so we called ahead & this place had openings & was conveniently located off the interstate. The ladies in the office were nice & seemed knowledgeable. The room was ok, but I'm not really sure the deadbolt actually worked. The bed was too short for my 6'3" husband. I gave... More

Stayed here on our way from Houston to Roswell. This is one of the more traditional roadside motels. Good value, no frills. Friendliness of service left a little to desire. Pro: - location - value Con: - service Summary: Good for a stopover.

Stayed here Feb 16,2015- checkin staff were very helpful and warm / friendly Gto to my room (147) locks broken - shower had hair in it bathroom only superfically cleaned - bedding appeared clean beds very UN comfortable (thin mattress) Trash stacked up on the walkway to the room. Recent oilfield boom has taken its toll on this facility, however... More

Motel 6 has a particular market niche. Within that niche, I found the Ft Stockton Motel 6 to be one of the finest I have stayed at. I would stay here again without trepidation. Clean room, clean bed, functional plumbing, and a small gang of rowdies outside quietly watching over things like guardian cowboy angels.

During 2014, this property went through an upgrade - that should have improved the quality of the rooms and the service. What it did was to take a average-good motel and turn it into a disaster. There was no sound proofing between my room and the next - I "enjoyed" the discussion that the couple in the room next to... More

I've stayed here before and always had a clean room. It's been a few years since my last stay and the rooms have been updated. I like the stark decorating with no carpet and no cushions on the chairs so I can see it is clean. While I like the no carpet floor from a cleanliness standpoint, there was no... More

The desk clerk was friendly, but when we asked how to get to the restaurant where we thought we'd have dinner, she didn't know that they don't serve dinner, and we went on a wild goose chase. We paid extra for high speed internet, and it was a disaster. We kept getting dropped, and I finally called the 800 number... More
