This is our second stay since this hotel opened in April. Facilities are new and nicely decorated, clean and spotless. The staff is friendly and personable. Breakfast area is very large and includes a mix of tables, computer seating and furniture seating areas. We will definitely stay here anytime we are in the Amarillo area - it's worth the extra... more

We stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Dumas as a stop-over 9-10-09, on our way from Texas to Colorado. This four month-old hotel on the southern outskirts of Dumas was a welcome oasis after almost 600 miles of driving. My husband especially enjoyed the sauna, hot-tub, and pool. The Dumas Hampton Inn is very nice. Appears to be a newer hotel. I was given a handicap room because we requested a roll-away bed. So the room was large. The bathroom was roomy and like the room very clean. Great water pressure. Pizza Hut delivers to the room. Lots of channels on the TV. We watched the Texas Rangers... more

Dumas, TX, is a town of less than 15000, about 45-50 miles north of Amarillo, TX. We were truly surprised to find a brand new Hampton Inn, beautifully decorated and furnished, and a very pleasant and comfortable place to spend the night. This is a really a beautiful, new hotel. The bedding, towels, decor are what you would expect to find in a top hotel like the Westin. Lobby and breakfast areas are beautiful. Typical Hampton breakfast served in a great setting. Nice, clean place! more
