Dumas isn't a large place and this was a very nice place to stay on our way to Colorado. The room was clean and the breakfast was better than just the basics including: eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, yogurt, and cereal. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. more

Chose this motel because of generally good reviews on Tripadvisor, but was disappointed. Motel looks nice from the outside and rooms are "updated", but most of the updating is superficial (curved shower rods, etc). We reserved this room after staying in a great holiday inn in WY. We thought it would be worth the $120 per night if it were comparable. Boy were we wrong. This place is WAY overpriced. Our bathroom was dirty. The in-room coffee pot had a white crust all over the lid (we did not use it!). The hotel stank.... more

We stopped here on the way from Denver to south Texas, late at night, exhausted and pet-in-tow. The woman at the front desk was very cheerful and helpful and set us up with a double room. Everything was fine except it could have been cleaner. It wasn't so dirty that I complained though. A quiet night and we got back... more

After a grueling drive from Austin, pouring rain, we were met with an offer of "cookies and milk" before bed...yeah..I was amazed too, the beds were great, both soft and firm pillows stacked against the headboard, couldn't wait to climb in, quite, clean & a good nights sleep.......woke refreshed only to dicover a.....
