My daughter and I took some girl time away and we wanted to be in nature. This was a great choice! El was the hostess with the most! She made sure we had everything we needed, along with lots of ideas for places to go. We stayed for two nights. The cabin was very nice, clean, and decorated with care.... More

We had a wonderful, relaxing visit to the Texas Hill Country, with Tex-Zen Dreams as our base. "L" and Jeff are warm and gracious hosts who are knowledgeable about the area and welcoming. The property is gorgeous. Our room was immaculate and well-equipped. The outdoor spaces were so charming, with music, comfortable seating and a chiminea. There are barbecues available... More

Secluded yet accessible, near a state park, stayed in the boutonniere cabin, lovely outside area. Perfect amenities and good for earth conscious people. Hostess was accommodating and helpful. Arrived late and she was gracious enough to let us leave our car on the grounds while we rode bikes to the nearby state park. Would definitely stay here again and she... More

This little hideaway is just amazing. I stayed for 4 nites because I had a training camp in the area. You never wanted for a thing, yet you had complete privacy. Ell is a wonderful hostess and a pleasure to meet. If you are ever in the area, STAY HERE!

My husband and I were in town to visit relatives 4/12-4/15 and found the Tex-Zen on Trip Advisor. What a nice surprise! It was very easy to make the reservations. We had the boutonniere room and it was really comfortable. El thinks of everything you might need for your stay. Coffee, tea, and all of the fixings. Her breakfasts were... More

My wife and I went for our 3 year anniversary back in June and we were very glad we did. It was exactly what we needed, relaxing, refreshing, and much needed time away together. It was the perfect distance from town, close enough to get to all the attractions and far enough to feel secluded from the business of life.... More

Once again Jeff and Lorretta made our anniversary special again. Weather, scenery, and hospitality, made it especially nice. We so enjoy the local winiers in the area, and to end the day of visiting many of them, we LOVE to go back to the cottage and enjoy the bottle of wine that we tasted, and sit in the hot tub with... My wife and I stayed at Tex-Zen for two nights in September of 2013. The setting is peaceful and our stay was quite spectacular. Ell went out of her way with friendly hospitality to make it that much more enjoyable. The cottage was tidy and comfortable. Quietly watching the sunset from the hot tub while deer walked about the property... More
